  My friend and I missed a class. I called this location 241 Bedford Ave. CeCe answered the phone and was very very helpful. She changed us to another time and offered all the options that we could make very very nice staff.

  From the moment I walked in until I reached the register, the ladies were so helpful, welcoming, and down to earth. They greeted me warmly even though I walked in chatting on my phone, which I really appreciated. I honestly went in feeling a little nervous because of some of the bad reviews I had read beforehand, and I wasn’t sure what kind of experience I was going to have. Thankfully, my experience turned out to be completely different. I was able to exchange everything I wanted and also complete a return without any issues. The staff was patient, ready to assist, and made sure I was happy with my items before I left. It felt like they genuinely cared about providing good customer service and making customers feel comfortable. A positive experience can really change your perspective, and I’m glad I decided to go for myself instead of relying on reviews alone. Ladies, keep up the great work and continue providing that positive energy!

  Walked into the store and was met with extremely dismissive customer service from one of the associates. When we brought it up to the manager, Lamar, he seemed completely unbothered by the situation. The whole experience felt very unwelcoming and uncomfortable so we ended up leaving the store.

  Went into this store with my friend and immediately greeted a sales associate. She barely acknowledged us, didn’t even turn around, and gave a short, dismissive “hi.” We then asked if the sale was still going on, and again, without even looking at us, she bluntly responded “no.” I have genuinely never experienced customer service this poor before. This is actually my first time ever leaving a review because I was so shocked by how uncomfortable the experience was. We went to the front to speak with a manager, where several sales associates were standing around. When we explained what happened to the manager, Lamar, he smirked while saying “sorry for that experience,” which made it seem like he was already aware of her behavior and didn’t really care. He also refused to give me her name. The entire interaction made us feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable that we ended up leaving the store.

  If you can refrain from going to this specific Alo please do! I’m a frequent Alo vip member and shopper and only been to this store 2x but the last experience was the absolute worst I bought over 900 dollars of items and was treated as if I was gonna steal they followed me around talking to one another as if they had to watch me to then after paying for my items I step foot outside for a cop to say I was In The store a long time why does that matter if I’m a buying customer with receipts to prove it I have spent A heavy amount of my hard earned cash to then be treated like this Shame on you! Alo Williamsburg!!
