  I had been Nordstrom customer for the last about 15 years, when we lived in king of Prussia, pa. Recently we moved to Rochester and was doing online shopping and going to Buffalo, NY store. Twice went to the store and had awful customer service experience. Cashiers behave like they are doing charity work to take our money. Will never visit Nordstrom again.

  Needed something fast for a work event. Great selection. Sizes worked out for 80 percent of what I wanted. A little shorthanded as I had to seek out someone to open the fitting room for me.

  I’m hoping the new store manager can do a better job at elevating the customer service experience at this store… Amherst, NY Nordstrom Rack. Somehow and to my complete astonishment, an employee/cashier named Dasja (Deja?) has been allowed to scroll on her cell phone while working at the checkout/cash desk. When a customer comes along and she has to serve them, she rolls her eyes and barely mumbles ‘next…’. the interaction continues in a very rude and dismissive manner. It’s shocking! Once she (barely) starts serving you, she is rude, disrespectful and on my last visit, she threw a stapler at me when I asked if she had a stapler to attach my original and return receipts. The first time that she was rude to me, I called a supervisor/manager over and he told me not to worry about it, that she was having a bad day and that he would deal with her. I have since learned that she and this supervisor/manager I spoke with are friends and that he let her get away with this behaviour. I have since learned that particular supervisors/floor manager was let go recently. On my last visit to the store on June 1, 2026 I was served by her once again and the service was disgusting! I even confronted her and asked why is she always so rude to me and I asked if I had done something to upset her. She rolled her eyes and kept repeating asking me for my phone number to ring in my items. Completely mute to my concern and robotically ignored me/kept asking for my phone number. This is also when she threw a stapler at me. I spoke with the acting store manager on duty who assured me she would bring this to the attention of the new manager starting later that week. Something needs to be done here. Most of the staff here mildly rude and checked out! The only staff who show any effort and are super helpful and pleasant are a girl who’s name is spelled like Natasha (but isn’t that) Dan! Please please please… train your staff better, hire better, set some customer service standards and stop normalizing Dasja’s behaviour! I don’t understand how she even has a job! The eye rolling, prioritizing her phone while on cash and the way she speaks to customers, throwing a stapler at me (and yes, I’m sure it’s on your camera… check around 3:00-4:30om window June 1st)… why is she still employed here? This isn’t the service I expect from your brand… it’s beyond awful! Please do better!
