  I always have a good time when I visit this store. Ryan and Clint and the young guys who put your furniture purchases in your car - are wonderful. They are so helpful and always make my visit both fun and worthwhile. Sometimes I don't find anything and it doesn't really matter - I have fun. Of which we all need more of. Go visit the store.

  The staff is so rude at this location!!! It doesn’t matter if I’m going in looking for something specific or making return. Volunteers are usually who I ask if I have a question. Specifically, the cashiers are rude and unprofessional. I live less than five minutes away from the location so my visits were frequent. I purchased a light fixture on my last visit but needed to return it. In a rush, I threw the receipt in my wallet. Unfortunately, it tore when I when zipped my wallet to close it. I went back to see if there was a way for them to return the item with the receipt in the state that it was (I will add SOME of it was missing a portion due to being damaged by my zipper. ) The cashier called the manager on duty and he (VERY RUDELY) asked what I expected him to do with that a receipt? I said return it! He said there’s nothing he could do without a receipt. I asked if he could look the transaction up and of course he said no! I knew it was a lie! While shopping at the Fuquay location I asked if it could be done. I showed the receipt and explained the situation and Freedom-the manager explained that not only could he see the details of my transaction with the portion of my receipt to look up the sale, but printed another one out in less than two minutes. I was shocked at the ease of service I received. It was such a contrast from Clayton. Frustrated, I returned to Clayton with the new receipt to complete my return. I explained to the manager on duty to bring awareness. I would NEVER shop at this store again because of the treatment I received. The gentleman I spoke with explained he was not the manager of the store and was filling in apologized for my experience. As I left the customer that was behind me during the return explained that he had very similar experiences while shopping at that location.. It’s very unfortunate that people come to work with their perceived prejudice and bias with them and it’s VERY obvious at this location . I’ve been a huge supporter of Habit for years. I’ve assisted with several builds, volunteered my time and supported through corporate donations so I feel this behavior is isolated to Clayton. I will no longer support them in the retail store based on my experience . Below is the amazing piece I picked up at the Fuquay location!
