Hano post the money on the 1st of the month or the next business day if it falls on the weekend. Northpoint post to the owner portal whenever they feel like it causing delay for the disbursement. Is feels like a guessing game with this company. If you email or call concerning your account you are luck if you get a response in addition the incorrect amount was short of amount $1000 each month, (cash in) for 2 months in a roll its a fight to have the information corrected so the right amount would be disbursed and it has nothing to do with the tenant portion its an error on Northpoint that I would like corrected if there is a future with this company

I rented a home for over 5 years with consistent on-time payments, often paying months in advance. During my tenancy, the lease was renewed and the rent was increased without any renovations or improvements, despite going through 3–5 different property managers over the years.
After moving out, my security deposit was wrongfully withheld. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly. I contacted Gabriele Simpson, the last property manager I worked with, several times, and she never responded to calls or follow-ups.
I was left with no choice but to file a small claims case at the courthouse, only to discover that the address on record appears to be closed or non-operational.
This experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Withholding deposits, ignoring tenants, and providing invalid contact information is unacceptable. This behavior shows a complete lack of accountability and respect for long-term tenants.
I do not recommend Northpoint Asset Management to anyone looking for honest or transparent property management.
Thank you for the response. I want to clarify that my dispute is not about whether an itemized statement exists, but whether the charges assessed are lawful.
After more than five years of occupancy, the items listed—general cleaning, flooring wear, lawn condition, and routine interior condition—constitute normal wear and tear, which is not deductible under Texas law. No excessive or tenant-caused damage beyond ordinary use was identified at move-out.
Additionally, this matter has not been resolved by the court. Service was previously unsuccessful due to a closed office location, and the case remains active (Case No. 255100507378).
For transparency and proper legal process, please publicly confirm the physical address or registered agent where your company can be served, as service is required and all communication must remain in writing.
This matter remains pending, and I will allow the court to determine whether the withholding of my security deposit was lawful.

High turnover in property managers, incompetent, constant mistakes, and consistently unprofessional communication. Basic issues require multiple follow-ups, and there’s little accountability or organization. The property itself had potential, but the management made it unsustainable. I’m choosing to move because the lack of professionalism and consistency became exhausting.

Northpoint, Holly Holmes-Williams specifically, made the leasing and maintenance of my Manor Creek house in Northwest Houston as near to effortless as it could be. I seriously recommend asking to work with Holly, you will not be sorry!

As a property owner who previously used Northpoint and my assigned property manager being Marquae and his manager being Brian. I would not recommend this company to anyone who is looking for someone to represent their property.
- poor communication first and foremost
- my manager allowed my tenant to leave a month early. And told her she didn’t have to pay last months rent and it could come out of the deposit that was supposed to be used for Damages. This caused over 10k worth of damages on the homeowner due to their negligence.
- They left my home vacant for over a month, my neighbors told me that no one lived there anymore, and not the property manager.
- since they did not try and get a new tenant knowing our home was vacant starting in September. They waited which led to months of a vacant home through the holidays. Not to mention thousands of more dollars lost.
In addition, it took over 60 days to get the refund of deposit that was owed to us, and I had to call corporate just to get that. Do not use this management company if you want a true professional. They are not professional at all and will cost you as a homeowner thousands.
