  I can’t say enough good things about The Link Brookstown. Sam, Dani, and Lauren are amazing—always friendly, welcoming, and willing to go above and beyond to make residents feel at home. The maintenance staff is also incredibly friendly, responsive, and professional. The location is fantastic, with Truist Stadium, restaurants, breweries, bars, and downtown Winston-Salem all outside your door. It’s a perfect spot for anyone who enjoys the perks and convenience of downtown living. What really sets The Link apart is the staff and the sense of community they create. I would highly recommend The Link Brookstown to anyone looking for a great place to live in Winston-Salem.

  I’m so sad to say goodbye! I absolutely LOVED everything about living here but I must send a special shout out to Danny bc she was my ultimate reason for choosing this property! I fell in love with her the first time I met her on my tour. Her personality, her knowledge of the property, just felt very warm & welcoming! I moved from nyc so this was a totally different experience from what I’m use to in the “Big Apple” but I wasn’t disappointed at all! Thank you for making my year here such a great experience I will definitely miss my girls 🫶🏽The assistant manager was sweet as well.

  Lived at apartment complex for a little over a year, only moved out because of new job not in Winston Salem. Sam and Dani are the best - very approachable and professional. Always available via in person or email. Won’t find better office staff anywhere else. Only had a few maintenance requests and they were small, always fixed the day of or the next day. They also had preventative maintenance which I appreciated. Parking garage was secure, and the gait was always working. Read some reviews that the walls were paper thin - never experienced, never heard my neighbors. Maybe only heard the fireworks two to three times from the ballpark across the street, and only lasted ~ 5 minutes. Great location if you work downtown or at wake forest baptist. Compared to other apartments that are in the heart of downtown, price is great. My apartment was exactly as appeared on website, and was clean when I moved in. Nothing but compliments from my POV, would highly recommend!

  This is a fantastic community. The staff truly care and it shows. I have had a major apartment incident and Lauren came in the apartment immediately and began handling it! Dani, is an amazing employee who always goes above and beyond. Despite an incident in the parking garage, I truly enjoy living here. As for the noise, it’s an apartment, typical noises. The ball stadium is noisy at times, especially with fireworks, but it is a huge perk living here to see fireworks during the summer. All the amenities are well maintained. 10/10 recommend living here!
