I lived here for 2 years and it was one of the best renting experiences I have ever had. The location on University Pkwy is unbelievably convenient for groceries, haircuts, restaurants, the post office, shopping, and more. This location also provides quick access to the highway and a straight shot to downtown Winston-Salem and surrounding areas. The pool in particular is a great amenity worth mentioning here— it’s a summer staple. The maintenance staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to fix anything you need. The Leasing Office Staff was easily the most important highlight of my experience here. I became friendly with them and they were always there to help me with any issues I had, or to help talk me through Leasing Information with absolute transparency and understanding. Huge shoutout to them. Alaris Village is an affordable, convenient, and genuinely great place to live in Winston-Salem.

I'm on my fourth year in Alaris Village and it's beginning to be a nightmare.
1. They break into/steal cars constantly around here and management has done absolutely nothing about it. No proper surveillance, no security, nothing. With the expensive rent, they can afford cameras around the entire complex. Also, there's supposed to be a security gate but I guess they gave up on that. Maybe people should sue the complex for negligence for lack of reasonable security?
2. Maintenance is slow.
3. The appliances are outdated. Again, something that the complex can afford to change but won't.
4. Management is the worst!!!!!!!!! They never address anything (such as the car break-ins) Also, it seems that alot of these negative reviews are speaking about how horrible Allison is. Personally, I've never spoken with her but with the amount of people mentioning her in these reviews, corporate should take heed!
I could go on and on but i'll end it here. So do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to move.
