I have lived at Riverwood since they opened, almost 4 years now. There has been a huge decline in living here since the new property management has taken over. The pricing for rent has just gone up and the value of what you get has gone down. The new management company prides itself on “people first” but in my experience I have not seen that. Based on the newest reviews below, this seems to be a common feeling among current residents.
The property isn’t well maintained. The breezeways are very dirty. My apartment flooded twice due to a tenant above me. I understand the apartment complex can not control when these situations happen. However, they can control how they make up for it & when I asked how I can be accommodated and/or reimbursed in a small capacity for the hassle, electric bill increase & burden, I was told I can not be. This doesn’t portray a “people first” value.
Every year I have renewed, my rent has increased regardless of being a long time faithful resident. Unfortunately, I am now looking at other places to live since this new property management company has taken over and my experience over 4 years has significantly declined.

I just signed a lease at Riverwood and I’m so excited to have finally moved in. Hannah made everything effortless. She is super knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely enthusiastic. She showed me all the amazing amenities, answered every question, and made the whole process enjoyable, truly couldn't have been a smoother process. The property is spotless, well cared for, and incredibly dog friendly—my dog already feels at home and didn't take long to settle in. Super friendly community, lovely common areas, and thoughtful touches throughout. Huge shout-out to Hannah for making this such a great experience, I'm excited to be home!

I have lived at Riverwood Apartments for over two years, and unfortunately my experience has declined significantly over that time.
When I moved in, the community was presented as a well-maintained, non-smoking luxury apartment community. Today, that description no longer reflects reality. Cigarette and marijuana smoke are frequently present throughout the property and often drift into neighboring apartments despite the community being advertised as non-smoking.
The overall condition of the property has also deteriorated. Common areas and breezeways are filthy, pet waste is frequently left throughout the grounds, and the landscaping and exterior appearance no longer reflect the standards that attracted me to the community. Trash collection can be inconsistent, and routine upkeep and cleanliness no longer seem to be priorities.
Communication and responsiveness from management have also declined. There have been multiple management changes during my tenancy, and it has become increasingly difficult to get concerns addressed or receive meaningful follow-up.
I also experienced a serious safety concern during my residency. Individuals with whom I had ongoing conflicts moved into the community just a few doors from my home. Shortly afterward, I was assaulted by one of them during an off-property incident. A police report was filed, and the matter remains pending in court. In an effort to create distance, I transferred to another apartment within the community.
When I later asked management whether the pool-area security cameras were functional because of my safety concerns, the response I received was, "Why would we have cameras that don't work?" While that may have been intended as reassurance, it felt dismissive. I would have appreciated a response that acknowledged my concerns and affirmed that resident safety was a priority.
While the maintenance staff has generally been professional and helpful, I feel I am paying luxury prices for a property that has experienced a significant decline in cleanliness, management responsiveness, and overall quality of life.
Unfortunately, after two years at Riverwood, I can no longer recommend it to prospective renters and am actively exploring alternative housing options.

I have lived here almost 4 years and since we have a new management company now it has done nothing right! They are trying to overcharge us and not doing anything to take care of our apartment complex
