I’ve lived at Riverwood Apartments since April of 2022, and the decline in quality under the current management team has been extremely disappointing. When Brianna was the property manager, issues were addressed and the community felt more well-run. Since living at Riverwood, management has changed multiple times, and things have gone downhill fast—rules aren’t enforced, problems linger for weeks, and communication is practically nonexistent. I now feel like I’m over-paying for very poor quality apartment living.
Dog poop is left everywhere, even near the waste stations, and nothing is done about it. The amenities are just as neglected; for the past three years, the gas grills have been empty on major summer holidays (like 4th of July) when residents actually want to use them.
Most recently, my freezer failed right before Thanksgiving. I reported it immediately, yet it still took over three days to replace, resulting in more than $300 of food going bad, impacting my ability to buy Thanksgiving food for my family. Maintenance mentioned possible compensation, but the current community manager has ignored every follow-up.
Riverwood continues to advertise itself as “luxury,” but under this management team, it is anything but. After years of declining standards and unmet basic services, I cannot recommend living here. If I could move out immediately, I would.
