- RBRobert BlackmanJan 2, 20251.0Bought a home in 2021 took a year and a half to install on my land two years later my brick under pinning is cracking my walls are separating my ceiling is cracking because my house is sinking paid an additional 3500.00 to have concrete footers to be installed also they were paid 132,000 in full up front I have electrical outlets falling out of the wall the bull insurance company they use Home first said your house sinking caused the damage your not covered I paid for soil test, engineers to find out what I needed to insure a stable home through them I might add they hire bs contractors and won't honor there work...you want a good screwing buy a Clayton home...my home has been lived in for two years bought to retire in and now my retirement is being spent to fix it I got a better warranty and service contract with my riding lawn mower!!!

- GPGail PattersonAug 3, 20161.0We bought a mobile home in October and moved in December . We have had a multitude of problems. One of the contractors they sent out did such shotty work it was unbelievable. You have to call over and over again to try and get anything done. Sometimes you do not hear from anyone. The heating and air unit is so loud you have to turn the TV up very loud to even hear. Would buy another one but never from Shallotte. Bad customer service and still waiting on work to be completed not to mention repeated calls.
