  I lived here but moved out early. My unit shook from doors slamming. It was hard to sleep here. I cannot recommend this place for many reasons. Acorn deleted my original review.

  I have only positive things to say about living here! The staff is friendly, responsive and you can just tell they care. Recently, the scent machines in the hallways had a new scent that some residents were averse to and the leasing team heard resident’s concerns and made a survey asking for feedback. Since then the scent is much more mild. They just get it! The location of the building is also nice as you’re right in the middle of being able to walk through neighborhood streets with your dog or just as easily walk to any of the nearby coffee shops or restaurants downtown has to offer. Super content here and couldn’t recommend it more!

  I recently moved into The Acorn and have had nothing but a positive experience so far! Everything is extremely organized, the apartments and common areas are always clean, and the entire community feels very well maintained. The office staff has been amazing—friendly, helpful, and always willing to answer questions. The maintenance team has also been great and very responsive. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the residents and the property. The pool is another huge plus and has been a great place to relax. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my decision to move here. 10/10 would recommend The Acorn to anyone looking for a great place to live!

  I love living at the Acorn. I toured a few places when looking for an apartment and the acorn was the cleanest, good smelling, and beautiful complex I’d toured.

  If you are looking for a place in downtown Raleigh, I highly recommend The Acorn on Person Street. The management team, Haley and Sara, are top-notch, and you will not find a better location downtown. It is in the heart of downtown and minutes away from great restaurants, Moore Square, and Fayetteville St. The apartment building is only a few years old and is kept, and continues to look, brand new with the help of the amazing maintenance team, Dwayne and TJ! Over the past year, the whole team has been more like family to us, and we have met and made some great connections while living there. We were sad when personal matters took us away from Raleigh and The Acorn, but I know we can pop in or come back and will always be welcomed by them!
