I had a good time living here. When I first moved in, there were a series of problems wrong with the apartment. However, maintenance was always there to fix the problems the same day or next day. Nyasha and Kendall were great to deal with as well.

My roommate and I lived at Brookhill for two years and had our bathroom toilet flood 3 times and I was called a liar by the upper management when I voiced my concerns. Our downstairs bathroom was pretty much unusable, if we did use it maintenance would come in almost every month and a third party plumber would have to come in to flush out the pipes in the toilet. One time our downstairs bathroom completely flooded our living room which my roommate and I did the majority of cleaning for. We started to only use the bathroom upstairs cause it was inconvenient to have them come into our house and it would leave a long lasting smell so we decided to try and just use the upstairs one. The upstairs bathroom then started to fail and was doing the same thing as the downstairs one and flooded our upstairs twice with toilet water. One time when it flooded upstairs at night the emergency maintenance would not come out because it was not considered an emergency since we had the "second bathroom" which was also never working and we were told to use our bath towels to clean up the fecal matter water. It was only till we about 2 months left on our lease that they told us that they could get people to fix it which would have been a three day process and they would have tore some of the walls down and since we only had two months left we did not think that was worth it because of how intense the project would have been. I was in communication with the managers and I was called a liar when I told her that I was told by the maintenance and the third party plumbers that this issue has been ongoing since before we had moved in and the third party plumbers told me they were going into that apartment when the previous tenants lived there. So when I told the upper management that this should have been fixed before we moved in she said how were they supposed to know and I told her that my roommate and I were told that they have been flushing out the pipes since before we moved in and I was called a liar. Management would gaslight me, they would tell me they fixed the problem then I would have documented proof that we had maintenance orders after they claimed it was fixed it. It was just overall really frustrating to basically not have a working bathroom and having managers that were called me a liar and were gaslighting.

Curtis has been extremely helpful and professional. He fixed our door and windows the very next day after the request was submitted and has always been kind and responsive. We really appreciate his hard work and support in the community.
