Unfortunately, this is the worst place I have ever lived, even apartments in college were not this bad. Most amenities do not work or are not being maintained. The complex once went the entire summer (2025) without the pool and without a difference in rent. The car wash station is just a hose that is usually broken. In my unit the AC went out multiple times over the 3 years I lived there. Each time it went out it took days for them to address the issue. Additionally, our refrigerator stopped working two separate times, each time we lost $400 in food with not even a sorry from the staff. The second time it went out they were not going to fixed our fridge for a week and I had to really negotiate with the staff until they let us use another refrigerator in an empty unit. There is poor communication between the staff, maintenance and residents. We finally left the complex and our autopay suddenly did not work for the 5 days of rent into the beginning of the month, since our lease ended on the 5th of the month. They tacked on a late rent fee for this, even though it was them and their system. Other random charges were added as well that they did not explain. There are many other issues that occurred over the three years I lived there, I cannot remember them all. I would recommend to find somewhere else to live.

Been staying here for about 6 months now… nice apartment other then the constant fridge replacement and the wonky AC. But recently we’ve gotten a new downstairs neighbor and all of a sudden have roaches. There was a leak prior in the apartment below us that we were made aware about but I’m starting to think the moisture from the downstairs apartment brought the roaches upstairs to our apartment. We’ve put fire ant spray around the bathroom and kitchen since we saw 2 behind the fridge and one just out on the floor earlier. They’ve died and been swept up but this was never an issue till the leak and new neighbor came.

If I could give no stars at all , I would. When management found out I was moving out of town, I was charged for carpet replacement based on an allegation that I had a pet. I haven’t had a pet in years because my children and I are allergic. When I requested documentation supporting the charge, the only pictures provided were of the **bottom side of the carpet—the portion that had been removed from the floor**—which showed what appeared to be a water stain. No actual evidence of pet damage or other damage warranting a full carpet replacement was provided. not one stain on visible side of carpet, and that's obvious because they could not provide photos of it My final bill was already issued at **$1,620.91**.i was not going to pay until the so called carpet fee was taken off! after requesting to have this looked into by cooperate management - Rickeeva Mills never got back to me. instead months later, the balance was apparently increased and sent to collections for **$2,306.36**. which you cannot do, my final bill is my final bill. I was never provided with an explanation or documentation for the additional charges. The lack of communication has also been extremely frustrating. Since the property changed management from Braxton at Lake Norman, my experience has been consistently disappointing. Emails and calls frequently go unanswered, and resolving even basic billing concerns has been incredibly difficult. the one time they did respond it was to say absolutely nothing, an gave no explanations to increased price sent to collections. i even added the picture they claimed was proof as to why they charged me 1338.65 dollars for carpet reinstall- turns out when you live with them you cant spill one single thing on your carpet, or they will count it as "pet" and charge you the price of the whole damn complex. on top of that the picture shows they where lifting the carpet up anyway .. that's how a water stain was discovered in the first place. on top of all that, they claimed i didn't have a move out inspection- NO they were not there at 9 am like the lady at the office told me they would be!! and my kids and i had a plane to catch so when they didn't show i had to leave and they decided to take advantage of that! but i have my move out videos if needed for court so im not worried about that the entire situation was handled very poorly. I strongly encourage anyone considering this property to carefully document everything, review their move-out charges in detail, and get all communications in writing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend living here. i have never had this happen to me before , no such thing as normal wear and tear here they will find anything to charge you for just because they can, but me!, literally just took an assignment down there just so i can get this handled quicker. i will be seeing them soon. absolutely unacceptable
