  You know it's a great place to live when the maintenance crew care about the work they do around here! My AC broke over the weekend. They couldn't fix it, but set me up with a window AC unit while they scheduled an appt for professionals to come in a few days time to replace the broken AC. You'd think this is a given, but past experience has taught me that not every property management and maintenance crew prioritizes their tenants, shockingly enough. My AC issue was handled quickly and professionally. Thank you! I feel cared for and valued as a tenant. Shoutout to JB and the crew for being so friendly. Also, shoutout to the professionals who fixed my AC, and even cleaned my doormat on their way out. This is just one of the many positive things I've experienced here in my 6 months. I can tell PRG cares about the little things, which has made living here thus far a peaceful and positive experience. Thank you!

  I’ve lived at Park Ridge Estates for a few years now and have really enjoyed my time here. The location is hard to beat, especially if you work in Durham or RTP, and the community is generally quiet and well kept. The office staff has always been helpful whenever I’ve needed anything. Jake and Breanna are both great to work with and are quick to answer questions or help resolve issues. They are friendly, professional, and genuinely seem to care about the residents. Maintenance has also been one of the better teams I’ve dealt with while renting. Work orders are usually completed quickly, and the staff has always been respectful when entering my apartment. No apartment community is perfect, but I’ve found that management is willing to listen and work with residents when concerns come up. Over the years I’ve seen improvements made around the property, which shows they’re continuing to invest in the community. Overall, Park Ridge Estates has been a great place to live. Between the location, the helpful staff, and the responsive maintenance team, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment in the Durham area.

  I had the pleasure of touring the community with Jake and then returning for another tour with Bre, and both experiences were excellent. They were each professional, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the property and amenities. The community itself was beautiful, especially the wooded walking trails and outdoor spaces. Everything felt well maintained, peaceful, and inviting. Both Jake and Bre took the time to answer questions thoroughly and never made the process feel rushed or pressured. Jake did a great job explaining the different floor plans and giving an honest overview of the community, while Bre was incredibly patient and helpful during my follow-up visit to make sure I had all the information I needed before making a decision. Overall, this was one of the best apartment touring experiences I’ve had. It’s clear the office staff genuinely care about providing a positive and professional experience for prospective residents.

  The dog park is a mess and clearly neglected. The fence is in such poor condition that dogs can jump over it, creating an obvious safety issue. Residents have complained repeatedly with no response or action. The previous management team maintained the property far better than the current one. This is an easy fix, which makes the lack of care more concerning. If management won’t address something this basic, it’s fair to question how they handle more serious maintenance problems. Prospective residents —especially dog owners!— should see the dog park in person before signing a lease. The condition speaks for itself.
