  The Views at Flowers is a really nice community with great amenities. One thing that really stood out to me is that every building has an elevator. That is surprisingly hard to find in Clayton, and it gives people with disabilities or mobility concerns the option of living on any of the four floors instead of being limited to the first floor. The community is also very clean and feels safe and well cared for. The grounds and common areas are kept up nicely, and there are a lot of amenities for residents to enjoy. The staff (Colleen and Aimee) has been great as well. Everyone I have interacted with has been friendly, helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. Overall, I think The Views at Flowers has a lot to offer, especially if accessibility, safety, cleanliness, and good customer service are important to you.

  I researched apartments in Garner and Clayton and no matter what, Views at Flowers kept coming to the top of my list. My agent was Colleen and she did a great job of showing the complex and explaining the different floor plans and the application process. I love having two gyms on site, secure package delivery, and a brand new apartment with "smart features" Day one hi speed wifi was on. I also like that even after I had signed, every text or email I sent to Colleen was quickly answered. I could go on but I will close with saying I could live anywhere in the area that I wanted and I would choose here again.

  All of the leasing agents are nice and welcoming. They work to make the leasing/moving in process fast and easy. Maintenance is prompt and respond quickly to requests.

  Be warned: the pet “fees” and monthly pet rent are apparently nothing more than charges for the privilege of having a pet—they do not necessarily cover any actual pet-related damage. My dog caused minor damage to the carpet, and I was still charged separately for the cost of replacing it. When I signed my lease, I was led to believe that the pet fees and monthly pet rent were intended to cover situations like this. That clearly was not the case. If you’re considering renting here, make sure you get a very clear explanation in writing of exactly what those pet charges do—and do not—cover. Otherwise, you may find yourself paying pet fees every month and still being billed for damage on top of them.
