He’s Got The Truth

Do not be fooled!
The place is gorgeous. It’s new, it’s clean, it has all the amenities and is well located. There is just one problem, and it’s a big one.
There is no management, no communication, no oversight. There is a staff, but it’s a team of leasing agents. Their job is to find new residents. So when you visit, you will be their priority, until you sign the dotted line. At that point there will be absolutely zero service. They do not staff the desk to serve the residents, they staff it solely for the purpose of giving tours to prospects.
Much of what is great about the building is merely a facade. There is secure parking, but at least one of the gates is often broken and just left up and open to anyone. There is zero communication about the situation, or when it will be resolved. Anyone can access the secure parking area and the team does not seem to care. There’s been a loud beeping in the garage for weeks and no mention of why that’s happening or when it will be fixed. In a building our size there will be tons of garbage. There are huge rooms with chutes to discard bags of trash and recycling. But the chutes for those bags are not big enough, so bags get stuck all the time. Sometimes there are fire alarms in the middle of the day or the middle of the night, and no explanation is given. There will be a general communication that the team needs to enter your unit on a given day for pest control or other maintenance, but they don’t leave any note to confirm they entered your home. They will bring food trucks to the site, but there is only a 50% chance the staff will notify you. There are signs for community activities, but the staff will forget to include the dates. PThere are secure lockers and even a secure room to store packages. The system to access the lockers and room is broken. So the team just leaves the door wide open for anyone to access. And good luck getting your package out of a locker … you first need to get ahold of a staff member.
If existing residents need support from the building, there is never anyone at the front desk. There is a sign they have stepped away to give a tour. It’s recommended that residents use text to communicate with the staff, but the messages are never returned in a timely manner.
When you visit the building you will surely be impressed, but look closer, ask questions. Note how young and inexperienced the staff is. Note how the dumpsters are falling apart and the trash falls out the bottom. Note that there are always residents waiting for staff to assist them with one thing or another because it’s impossible to find them when you need them.
That front desk may look like a good spot for a concierge to sit, but do not be fooled. Until they staff up the building I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
it’s quite a shame for such a nice building in such a nice location. I hope Synco Properties sees this message, fires the entire staff and brings in service PROFESSIONALS.
