  I have had an incredible experience at South & Hollis. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the building is very cleaned and well-maintained, the amenities are great, and they regularly host fun events. Highly recommend!

  This is a great place to live! Definitely very hardworking and loving leasing Managers with Toriano and Iyanna they have been such a big help to us since we first moved here last November! Wouldn’t wanna stay anywhere else! It’s close to everything and makes life a whole lot easier, very peaceful and eventful as well. If you are looking for a place to live i definitely highly recommend South & Hollis!

  Living at South & Hollis has been an amazing experience. The apartments are modern, clean, and in such a great location in Charlotte with easy access to everything around South End and Uptown. The amenities are awesome, the building is always well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere feels safe and welcoming. The staff and maintenance team have also been incredible — always friendly, responsive, and helpful whenever anything is needed. You can tell they genuinely care about the residents and keeping the community running smoothly. Definitely one of the best apartment communities in Charlotte!

  ** I will change to five star if anybody replies my message I left weeks ago in resident portal. First review of my Google map, but this experience has honestly been exhausting. I was charged full months of rent while my lease ends at the mid of the month. Money is not the issue. The reason for this review is that nobody responds. I called for an entire week during business hours and every single call went to voicemail. Emails were ignored. Even after the offsite team helped me leave TWO high-priority messages, I still received no response. Imagine being unfairly charged and having absolutely no way to reach management. This feels incredibly frustrated and stressful. Images are all the calls I was directed to voice mail. Only be answered once on May 5, but the lady in front desk said she was busy and will call me later. I don’t know when the later is.

  I’ve been living here since Feb 2026. My experience has been great! I’ve been the lucky one to move on the day of the snowstorm and the team was still super accommodating to get me situated. I love the apartment and neighborhood but really the team here. Any concerns I’ve had which really hasn’t been much outside of a couple things with maintenance has been addressed ASAP. In fact it’s almost scary how fast maintenance responds (not used to that at other communities.) Some reviews will complain about Goldie’s and the sound of the trains but I actually enjoy it I’m from NYC so the noise brings me peace The only improvements I would recommend would be to have a fob or sensor in the car for the garage since it requires an app on the phone to open and the WiFi tends to go down . The other thing is the Echelon and Peloton machines in the gym require residents to login to a paid subscription so they’re essentially useless. A paid community subscription should solve that.
