I only lived here for a few months, and unfortunately I would not recommend it.
From the very beginning, the entire process was stressful and extremely disorganized. I was taking over someone else’s lease, and it seemed like no one knew what they were doing. I had to make multiple payments and sign paperwork more than once because I was initially sent the wrong documents. At one point, I genuinely didn’t even know if I had a place to live while I was literally on my way to Charlotte with all of my belongings. I tried to put the whole experience behind me once I finally moved in, but unfortunately, things only got worse.
Parking was probably one of the most frustrating parts. My parents were booted multiple times while visiting, including after parking where leasing office staff specifically told them they could park. Between the boots and other parking-related charges, we ended up paying over $900. When my mom went down to the office to ask why she had been told to park somewhere if it was going to result in her car being booted, the interaction was so rude and dismissive that she left the office crying. To this day, I’m convinced LMS Parking is a scam. After being told by the leasing office where my guests could park, only for LMS to boot them anyway, it was hard not to question how the apartment complex and LMS were working together.
The garage gate was also constantly broken and left open, meaning basically anyone could get into the garage and then into the residential hallways. That was especially frustrating considering I was required to pay a non-optional package fee, yet I still had packages that never even made it to my apartment. If residents are being required to pay extra fees for things like package handling, I would at least expect the building itself to be secure.
Unfortunately, that was pretty representative of my experience with the leasing office in general. Instead of trying to help resolve issues, several interactions felt rude, catty, and like everything was somehow your problem... even when you were following instructions given by their own staff.
The building was also very loud, and for the amount of money it costs to live here, I expected a MUCH better experience. Between the disorganization, constant parking issues and fees, lack of security, missing packages, noise, and the way residents and their guests were treated by the office, it was absolutely not worth the money. I was only there for a few months and that was more than enough. Save yourself the stress, fees, and frustration and live somewhere else.
