We are getting no help with problems at our house we have asked for a supervisor to call for 3 weeks and nothing. We have 3 joists that are cracked, over 20 cracks in walls, nails coming thru the Ceiling, 3-5 cracks in foundation. The cracks in the wall were fixed 2 years ago. Asked again for supervisor to call and all we get is vendors. Some one needs to take ownership of this. My rent is on time every month. You should be able to call you renters when they need help

I got approved and paid a $500 holding fee for a property that was scheduled to be ready on 5/11. I was told 2 weeks earlier that if I found another house I liked I could transfer my approval with no issues.
I got a call on 5/4 from my home finding consultant that the home I was approved for was ready and I could go view. The home was no where ready it wasn’t clean there was carpet when the pictures on the website shown hardwood floors throughout the entire home. It looked as if the previous tenant had just moved out and no one did a walk through.
I contacted progress the same day and voiced my concerns as well as provided an address that I wanted to transfer my approval to as I was previously told that I could. Just to be told that the company has went live with a AI application system and I would have to complete the entire application process again (credit/income verification) and then my app and holding fee would transfer once I was re-approved.
I opted out and was basically am being forced to keep the home that I have. And to top things off the home is still not ready! I was told a ticket was opened to address my concerns but the local team found additional items around the home that needed to be fixed along with my request. I was given a resolution date of 5/11 which then extended to 5/13 and now 5/18. My move in date was scheduled for 5/21! FYI I requested a supervisor call back on 5/13 and have yet to receive a call.
I feel that progress is forcing me to keep my home or have another hit on my credit or just eat the 500 fee and cancel my application entirely. This entire process has been crappy and I wish I would have never applied. I completed everything that was asked of me in a timely manner but now the company is not holding up to their part. I should not be forced to deal with their sudden changes in processes and feet dragging to complete things that should have already been done.

My experience was not the best with progress residential. They had me a $500 holding an entire month before the house was ready. Advertised as available 5/4/26. Well this date came and they pushed it to 5/5. This day came and i still have not seen the house. Called and was told it was not ready and to wait until 5/6. Called again 5/6 and was told 5/7. I asked what was the hold up and they would not provide an answer. Finally got the code to go view the house and it was horrible. It was not cleaned at all. Mailbox was rusted and about to fall over. House was extremely small- nowhere near the square footage advertised. A huge deck was advertised and there was no deck at all. Paint was not touched up, no washer/dryer. So im like what was the hold up because nothing is done. I emailed my concerns to the company and requested my $50” back and to cancel my rental application. The response i received was “
I understand, do you want to transfer to another house” no i do not. I want my money returned to me. Here it is a week later and no money has bee returned

3 stars – Charlotte area
The home itself and the surrounding area were both great, and overall we enjoyed living there during our stay. However, the move-out experience was extremely disappointing.
After moving out, we were charged what felt like excessive cleaning and trash fees, including charges for items that had already been cleaned and for one extra trash bag placed next to a full bin. We were also billed for multiple months of trash service-related charges without receiving a clear explanation.
What made the situation more frustrating was the lack of communication. I repeatedly requested to speak with someone directly, called the number provided with no answer Instead only received generic email responses before the case was ultimately closed without resolution.
Prior to this experience, I would have recommended renting with them. Unfortunately, after the way the move-out process was handled, I would instead recommend considering sourxing other rental companies. My expected refund dropped from over $1,600 to under $1,000, making this the worst move-out experience I’ve personally had.

I've been renting from progress for 7 years now and I've just recently transferred to a different progess home and I've been through some technicians. Some good and some bad but today Milton came and fixed a few issues and was extremely professional, he had his shoe covers on before he came in, respectful, and took his time. He worked on my issues as if it was his "Grandma's house" that's how technicians should approach every job.
Brandon, Homar, and Tyler are also very good technicians with progress. They are very professional, respectful and fixed my problems correctly and took their time.
All these guys above are welcome to come and fix any future issue that happen. 5 stars for all them.
Luis and Jakary on the other hand are very unprofessional technicians. These 2 are disrespectful, didnt do the jobs correctly, and just dont care. These 2 techs get -10 stars.
