We have had several issues with Associa Carolinas, and unfortunately, our experience with their customer service has been extremely frustrating. The biggest issue is the complete lack of follow-through. When we call regarding an issue and specifically ask for it to be escalated, we are repeatedly told that someone will call or email us back. Despite those promises, we receive no follow-up at all. We are left having to call again and again just to get an update on an issue that should have already been addressed. Mistakes and issues can happen, but what is especially disappointing is the lack of communication and accountability afterward. If a resident is told that an issue has been escalated and that someone will follow up, we expect that commitment to be honored. We have spent far too much time chasing responses and trying to get basic communication from the property management company. At this point, the lack of follow-through has made us question whether our concerns are actually being taken seriously. If I could leave a 0 star review I would, but I had to click 1. We hope Associa Carolinas takes this feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements to communication, accountability, and customer service.

This is the worst company I have ever worked with. My community used them for the HOA and they’re impossible to get in contact with and are completely useless when you do get in contact with them. No maintenance requests get filled, they forget to pay bills and in return we went days without water. They continued charging me after I sold my home in the neighborhood and cancelled my account. Took forever to get refunded. I hope to never have to communicate with them again.

Mariah does such an amazing job with all the activities for the residents at Carolina Gardens! I love her energy and spirit keeping her residents happy while having fun! The residents are lucky to have her planning those fun and creative activities!

Mariah Ripken is amazing to work with. You can tell she really cares about her residents and that they enjoy living in a Del Webb community.

Associa management (and our manager representative Justine) have done a fantastic job helping keep our HOA on track. They’ve offered feedback, guidance, assistance, and anything else our board has required to effectively tend to our neighborhood HOA. I will say: there will always be voices of discontentment as you can’t please everyone, but associa has never ignored those voices and has worked with the board to address everyone to the best of their abilities.
