  (Due to character limits, have to hit bullet points to include everything) Son attending school in Charlotte. Live out-of-state. 5-star reviews. Wife and I could not make it. Son did tour as we watched on WhatsApp. He mentioned odor of cigarette smoke. Everything else looked fine. Arbor Village rep stated no one from staff smelled cigarette odors in apartment. Put a diffuser in the apartment anyway to dispel any odors. We rented apartment. Two weeks later, wife and son went down to move-in. Wife found floors filthy. Scrubbed floor five times and still got more grime (have photos). That evening, something bit my son on the stomach. Next day, bug running across the floor (have video). Odor of cigarette smoke. Got hotel room for the evening. While packing up, found a wolf spider in the bathroom dolly (have photo). Found dead cockroach in kitchen cabinet. Found cigarette butts on ground outside the apartment door, most likely thrown there from an upper tenant. Complained about all of the above. Were told that no staff from the facility ever smelled cigarette smoke. Brought in exterminator to check for bed bugs. Wife adamant that we find another place and suffer financial consequences. They offered us another unit but we felt it would just be more of the same. To break lease, had to pay “buyout” fee equal to two months’ rent. Also had to give 60 days’ notice, so another two months’ rent. 60 days later, wife and I went back to move out. Two dogs in adjacent apartment barked continuously at us. Checked mailbox. After 60 days, box packed with mail from 14 previous tenants. FOURTEEN!! What kind of turnover must that apartment have where 14 tenants are still getting mail there? Question validity of 5-star reviews. Some shady characters that rent there or just hang out in parking lot. Locked car each time I put in belongings even though apartment was only yards away. Put two brand-new mattresses in dumpster due to possible bug infestation. Since found another place for same price, slightly smaller, in much better facility and neighborhood. End result - spent thousands of dollars to spend one night. Feel bad for people who cannot afford to leave and stuck there until lease runs out. I would sue but it would cost more to hire an attorney – and they probably know that. Should have fled when son first smelled cigarette smoke. While loading the last of our belongings in car, person in parking lot asked, “Moving in or out?” “Out” I said. His response: “Wish I could."

  Me encontre esta mañana a Ramón limpiando la cancha de futbol, el es una persona muy amable, las areas siempre estan siempe limpias, aqui hay un ambiente muy sano, el condominio esta muy completo, recomiendo a todos esta propiedad para vivir.

  The place was clean and looks good but the appliance are out dated. The second apartment that i saw was more open and costed more but if the appliances were newer it would be worth it. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

  Kelley in the leasing office was amazing from initial contact to move in, made me feel like more than just a renter!
