DON’T SIGN THAT LEASE WITHOUT READING MINE AND OTHER REVIEWS!! The two stars are because the actual apartments are nice, but the rest is lacking!
My lease ends in a couple of months and I could not be more grateful. There is a reason that this complex is a couple of hundreds cheaper per month to the surrounding ones, just wish I would’ve known that before moving in. I would like to add that my lease began in July of 2025.
On my move-in day, they didn’t have anything ready and didn’t even know I was moving in because my leasing person left them. “Your move-in day is today?” was how I was greeted and my folder was sitting in the empty leasing agent/manager's offic for weeks. I had to wait until that afternoon to begin to move in since a key was not even available and I was never contacted. I had to drive there and then forced to pay extra for my movers because they were not aware of a new tenant!
The first summer, the pool was not usable for several weeks, practically half or slightly more of the season, due to being disgustingly dirty or closed due to something malfunctioning. You could literally see a film on the surface of water or large debris at the bottom of the murky water. I had a manager tell me that they bring their family to the pool at the neighboring complex because ours is always dirty or unavailable…and they work for this place!!
The theater room has never been operable during my tenure and according to that same manager, it hasn’t been in several years…and you can’t rent it out when the office is closed, so forget hosting any parties after their business hours, which includes all day Sunday.
I complained several times about the constant noise from the attendants above me, and I was told “they have a younger child.” My pictures on the wall would tilt from the constant running, stomping, and banging from above. I resorted to asking the neighbors myself to calm their baby Godzilla and began to bang on the ceiling when it got out of hand, since the management team clearly didn’t hold them accountable.
The trash compactor is CONSTANTLY broken, causing trash to pile up and it makes the area smell…yet if we leave a single bag of trash outside our door for even a minute, we receive a $75 fee.
There dog waste bins are practically nonexistent, maybe a total of two to three for the whole complex, so you’re forced to bring the waste back into your apartment to dispose of or walk it to the compactor (if it’s working).
There is a car wash port, but the hose/spicket is busted so you can’t really wash your car. While the two EV chargers are ruled by those who live near them…treating them as if they’re private use only and nothing is communicated to remind them that all residents should be able to use them.
During the winter, there was a large icy area at the bottom of the stairs in my building, large equaling to a couple of feet. It took me a community post, stating that “management has been notified” and “to be careful”, for anyone to do anything about it…which my post was taken down because apparently they didn’t like being called out even if it with the “management is aware of this issue” statement.
The property management company does not care either, so don’t expect anything from them.
To sum it all up…PAY THE EXTRA COUPLE OF HUNDREDS IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT AND LEASE SOMEWHERE ELSE! Yes, the actual apartment is nice and spacious for what you pay for, but the amenities and surrounding area of the complex are NOT taken care of. Luckily for the management, they don't have to worry about it and respond with “amenities are not included in your rent.” Thankfully I travel a lot and did not have to endure being there 365 days, but I am ready to shell out the extra $200/month to live in a complex that is actually taken care of and where the amenities are operable and available for use…even for living there only 15-20 days out of the month!
