- VWVictoria Washington4 days ago1.0DON’T STAY HERE!!! As a first-time renter, I expected a certain level of quality and professionalism—especially at the price Royal Park charges. Instead, this has been one of the most disappointing living experiences I’ve had. Although some issues were eventually “handled,” it’s unacceptable that problems like bugs and poor apartment conditions existed in the first place. For what residents are paying, this place is simply not worth it. The cost does not match the quality, at all. To make matters worse, the “repairs” done were clearly rushed and careless. For example, the fix under the sink was nothing more than a quick patch job that looks awful and wasn’t even done properly. (Look under your sinks before you move).It’s frustrating to see issues addressed in such a sloppy, temporary way rather than actually being fixed. The management, particularly Sonia, made the experience significantly worse. Interactions consistently felt rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. There was little to no empathy when addressing concerns, and at times it felt like basic issues were treated as inconveniences rather than legitimate problems. If you’re considering living here, especially as a student, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. There are far better options for the price that won’t leave you feeling disrespected and overcharged.
