- PGPatty GardnerApr 30, 20261.0I did not have a good experience with Clayton Homes or rather the manager Frank Rogers is who I purchased my home from. He buys lots and puts Clayton Homes on them and sells them as a package deal. The interior “craftsmanship” is horrible. Very sloppy work. The 2 worst of the many issues are is the refrigerator is very small and looks “lost” with a lot of extra space with the surrounding cabinets. We are moving here from out of state and I fell in love with the view. With that being said, I didn’t focus on the house like I should have. The other issue is there is no paint on the walls. Yes, you heard me right. It’s just primer which again, I didn’t realize that and wasn’t told. When I brought that to Franks attention and asked to have the walls painted he said, “I’m sorry but I can’t do anything about that.” Buyer BEWARE! Customer Service is everything and if I owned a business, I would want my customers happy! While I am enjoying my view, I am spending more money to “fix” what I shouldn’t have to be “fixing” my new home. Lesson learned!
