  Todd Mercer and also a sweet lady (I completely missed her name!) were FANTASTIC working with on the phone. The lady was so helpful and kind while I was discussing my client’s options with her, and then Todd was able to track down a nearly 7 year old floor plan portfolio so that I could market the sale properly! They are great, and I’m so thankful for them! Sincerely, a Realtor who also goes above and beyond!

  After going through the full homebuilding journey with Oakwood Homes, I can honestly say this is a company that truly shows up for their customers, and they deserve every one of these five stars. I'll be transparent: I left a frustrated one-star review during construction and later deleted it. The process took longer than expected, and in the moment, that was hard. But looking back, the delays were tied to contractor reliability, something largely outside Oakwood's control. What WAS within their control, they handled exceptionally well. The heart of our entire experience was Todd Mercer. Todd was with us every single step of the way and I mean that literally. When the land we had originally purchased turned out to be unsuitable for a conventional septic system, Todd helped us find land that would actually work. He then helped us identify the right home to fit our needs. Through the construction process, he kept us informed and was a steady, calming presence during the most frustrating stretches. And even now, after we've moved in, when we call about small things that need tweaking, Todd handles it. No runaround, no handoffs, just the same consistent care from day one to today. That kind of relationship is genuinely rare in any industry, let alone homebuilding. We are so happy with our home and our land, and a huge part of that is because we had Todd in our corner the whole time. If you're considering Oakwood Homes, know that you'll have people who truly care about getting it right. Thank you, Todd you made this possible.

  Cody was super helpful during the process of looking for the best home plan as well as for looking for property to buy for us to build on. He is very hands on and communicative and did a very good job explaining what the steps would be and what the expectations for how long it would take from start to finish would be.
