The staff were very helpful and thorough in giving me a great tour of the available apartments, all which are highly desirable. I love the pool area and community spaces. I feel like they genuinely care about tenants, and the customer service alone made the application process go smoothly and were always available to help answer all my questions.

Rae (Rachael M) has been so helpful in our process to apply for our 2 bedroom. She sent links for everything we needed and video tours of each floor plan and amenities since we can’t be there to tour!! I had some reservations after reading some of the bad reviews but she was so approachable, most are before she took over as property manager and she assured me and walked me through the rest. It was reassuring and we’ve applied, without hesitancy, and are excited to move to Asheville!
I’ve lived here for a year now, and just signed the lease for another year. Honestly, other than my neighbors puppy barking 24/7 I haven’t had any real problems here. The maintenance staff is fast and very kind, and the people In the office have always been nice to me. However, today I walked out to my car to find a giant sticker that said my car will be towed in 2 days because of my expired tag. Granted, it is my fault for forgetting to renew that, but it seems like maybe a gentle reminder with a little more notice would have been a good start. I’m a full time student working a full time job, so I can’t exactly get things done short notice. Not to mention the sticker left a huge mess on my window. Felt a little disrespectful.
Edit after owner comment:
your apology does nothing to clean this vandalism off of my car. You wrote an email saying that the sticker was supposed to read notify office by Thursday. Read where is says “your car will be towed on day: thurs” and tell me how it means notify the office.

We are sooooo glad we found the District. The apartment we have rented has everything we wanted. Ariston and TJ were very helpful getting us set up. And it was easy to transfer from another Pegasus community to the District. Our previous townhome was excellent and the Pegasus team there was really amazing. I expect more of the same at the District. I highly recommend the District and any other Pegasus property.

My husband and I visited The District apartment homes last week. Ariston gave us a tour of one of the 3 bedroom apartments. I was really impressed with the amenities, the apartment, and the community was super clean. The District has a shopping suite of stores including an aveda hair salon, fitness, and coffee shop to name a few. It is really nice. My husband has a knee disability and it was great to see all the handicap parking that was reserved. We decided to move into one of the three bedrooms, and was put in touch with TJ. He was super responsive and quick to get the papers to us to sign and made the entire process really easy. We can't wait to move in. (Bonus - one free month of rent - who doesn't love that?!)
