- JPJongho ParkJul 3, 20261.0I bought this home last winter, excited by the reputation of the major builder, Pulte, and the appeal of a brand-new townhome. However, the house has had numerous issues. The creaking sounds on the second and third floors were severe; although I contacted the service center, it took months to finally get repairs done—and the creaking in the third-floor bathroom persists. That’s not all. Despite it being a new home, I recently ran into trouble with the air conditioning. A few weeks ago, when the outside temperature exceeded 100 degrees, the AC couldn't maintain the set indoor temperature. A technician came out to top up the refrigerant, but the problem recurred yesterday. Even though I made an urgent call to the service center, no technician showed up yesterday. With the outside temperature hitting 101 degrees today and the issue continuing, I called again, yet I still haven't heard back. Pulte had already scheduled an inspection date to diagnose the problem, but this issue flared up again before that appointment could take place. I was so happy to move into a brand-new home, but I’m frustrated by these recurring problems. I just want them to identify the root cause and fix it properly. As someone who bought this home trusting a major builder, I am deeply disappointed.
