  I’ve used this Banfield since my dog was a puppy. She’s now 12, and unfortunately this location has completely fallen apart. There is no consistent veterinarian or office manager, most of the staff I knew and trusted are gone, and the hospital is frequently closed. My senior dog badly needs a dental cleaning, which is included in the wellness plan I pay for every month. When I was there and asked to reschedule it, I was told they no longer perform dental cleanings at this location and that I should try another Banfield. Her last wellness exam also felt essentially pointless. At this point, what am I paying for? I’ll be contacting Banfield about canceling her wellness plan and finding an independent veterinarian who can actually manage the care of a senior dog and perform her dental. I already take her to Pender when I need a second opinion or more involved care, and paying for both no longer makes sense. After being a client here for approximately 12 years, it’s incredibly disappointing to see how far this location has declined. I would not recommend anyone to any Banfield location.

  If I could put 0 I WOULD. I had to take my dog to another center since they were all just plain rude and unprofessional, including Caroline Eckstrom and the other big bald man that claims to be a doctor. Every time I would go and get my dog checked for lumps they would just say “it’s balls of fat and that’s normal for dogs when they age” I went to another clinic and he had two types of CANCER!!!! My dog was also diagnosed with IVDD and they said that it would cost $15k+ to get an MRI ONLY (btw my dog has insurance with them). I took him to an acupuncturist and boom legs working again. Everything in this place is a money grab and they will never EVER care for your pets. Never stop advocating for our family members who can’t speak!!

  Do not go here! Horrible care, no consistent Drs, and they will waive off your concerns. We lost two dogs within 6 weeks due to their negligence and disregard of the issues affecting our dogs. I’ve heard the other offices around are better but DO NOT GO TO THIS ONE! Our first dog went in for stomach contractions, pain, and not eating. They sent him home with pain meds with no thorough testing. He died from internal bleeding in his stomach that afternoon. Our other dog ate a corn cobb, 3 months ago, we took her in to get checked out. They did two rounds of X-rays said it looked fine and sent us home. She had been seen multiple times since the , but they did nothing for her. We had to take her to emergency surgery and guess what they found in her stomach? A rotten corn Cobb that had caused necrosis and destroyed the lining of her whole digestive tract. Both deaths could have been avoided if they had received proper care, but this clinic only cares about one thing, your money with the pro plans. And don’t worry after your pet dies they will continue to bill you for the plan.

  Such a friendly place! I was previously going to a different banfield location and had multiple bad experiences there so I decided to give this location a try since it’s close to my home and I’m very happy I did! Staff is so friendly and so funny! You can definitely tell they enjoy working together. I also really appreciated that they did my kittens exam and vaccines in the room with me because I used to get very anxious when my previous vet would bring her to the back, so this gave me such a peace of mind! This will be my new permanent vet location from now on! Thank you!!
