- MKMonica KlinglesmithMay 26, 20261.0I booked 2 baths for my 2 dogs, I dropped them off at 10AM and was told 2-3 hours. After 3 hours and 40 minutes, I called to see if they were ready and was told one of the dogs had a damp chest, but if I was okay with that I could pick them up now. When I arrived 5-7 minutes later, I was told that the still-damp dog was not able to be groomed at Petco again because he showed some signs of aggression. Now, I will always support a groomer and want them to be safe. But if my dog was so aggressive that they are now banned from all grooming services at Petco, why did I have to call after almost 4 hours to see if he was ready for pick-up? Why wasn't I contacted at the first sign of aggression and told to pick him up due to their safety? Petco had no problem taking my almost $100 (plus a $20 cash tip for the groomer). They then said that my other dog was wonderful, and he could get groomed there. Why would I even bother? I will happily take my business elsewhere for both dogs.
