  This vet hated my dog because of her breed and he actually said so. I felt very uncomfortable when I brought my dog in.

  I would not recommend going here. Yes, prices are good, but you can find similar pricing at other offices with much better care. My cat died due to negligence of the vet at Fairleigh. Not once but TWICE they sent us home saying he would be okay with some meds, only for me to notice huge abscesses about 10 minutes after we got home. TWICE. This should have been noticed by the vet if the exam was thorough. I called them back immediately and they said to just watch him instead of bringing him back in for a more thorough examination. The abscesses both ruptured and would not heal, the wounds were severe, and our only option was to humanely euthanize our precious baby because surgery was not an option at that point. The emergency vet agreed that the issues should have been noticed at his examinations at Fairleigh. Actually, at one of our visits, the vet acknowledged that his education on animal care ended in the 90s and that he was not up to date with current medical practices. Additionally, last time I was there the lobby was filthy and smelled, and the animals being cared for in the lobby had dirty enclosures. It has taken me a long time to write this review due to the heartbreak of losing my pet, but I think they've earned this review and I would NOT recommend going here.

  Vet was awesome talked to my daughter about her turtle and gave her tips was very knowledgeable about our little buddy and made what could have been a stressful situation very relaxing and didn't charge a arm and a leg to do it

  Vet was thorough, prices are more reasonable than many around Louisville, and front office staff was really kind. Best of all, they were willing to see us quickly. Felt like they really want to do right by the animals and their people. Sees exotics!
