  I've been taking my two dogs here for about a year now. Had them groomed yesterday and one dog had two vaccines plus her ears looked at. I called the night before to get an estimate on price which was $260 before meds. I received two phone calls regarding the grooming only. Went to pick them up and check out and was told my total is $455. I was shocked and very taken aback. Apparently, my second dog had to have a vaccine that I was not told over the phone about and the dog treated for her ears had to have something done +2 medication's. I never received a phone call regarding her ear appointment or an update as to what they were treating her for. I asked to speak to the vet and she explained her condition. I told them I came in expecting to pay a little bit more than I was told over the phone, not $200 more. I am very disappointed that I was not called regarding my dogs ear appointment and had to ask to speak to the vet. I am the customer and should not have had to be the one to ask what the deal was with my dog's ears. The way they handled it was that I still had to pay and they did not apologize for not calling me about her ears or for not even sending a vet to me without me asking first. I am very disappointed with this veterinarian hospital. I expected a lot more. I will now have to find another vet because they handled the situation poorly. This is not good business. Now I have no other option other than to contact the BBB. This treatment is unacceptable. No apologies,not trying to work with me on anything, poor communication, just bad all around.

  We love Dixie Animal Hospital. They have always been our place to take Hershey to keep him strong and healthy. The staff has always been courteous, kind and helpful. The staff knows Hershey and they love him and Hershey LOVES them!!!!!!!!!!

  I will always choose DAH for my pets. They are so organized and quick. I've never had an issue coming here and I've been using them for 3 years so far and will continue using them for my pets in the future. Thank you Dixie Animal Hospital.
