- HCHolden CraigAug 28, 20261.0They gave my THIRTEEN year old Shih-tzu dog the LIVE bordetella vaccination intranasal. They tried to kill my dog. He now has a collapsing trachea and hasn't stopped dry coughing/heaving since. It's been more than two weeks. I had to take him to see another doctor for another 500 dollars because Dixie Animal Hospital tried to kill my dog. What a terrible place to take your animal. My dog is now on three different medications. I've never been more disappointed in an animal hospital.

Both she and her husband Dr. Strickland, treated us with care. Zach, the office manager kept us up to date on our care plan. Very grateful to them all.
