  I had a very upsetting experience at the animal hospital in Danville. I brought my dog in for ear infection and what I believe was a urinary information. They told me that they needed to sedate her, gave her one shot, and after 15 minutes she was still fully awake. They then gave her a second shot, and even after waiting over an hour at the clinic, my dog still was not asleep. I became very uncomfortable with the situation and decided not to continue the procedure. They still charged me $115.25 just for medication. On top of that I was quoted over $500 for treatment. What worried me the most was that my dog did not finally become heavily sedated until about 5 hours later after we were already back home. That was very scary and stressful to watch were already back home. That was scary and to watch. I left feeling uncomfortable, frustrated, and concerned for my dog’s safety. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC “ANIMAL HOSPITAL IN DANVIL” based on my experience.. very dangerous and very unprofessional!!

  I thought this was a good vet although their prices were extremely high..they diagnosed my pet with allergies and prescribed abouquel when I called for a refill I was told she needed to be examined for her 6mo check up charging me over $200.00..in all my years I couldn't believe this scam!! Never heard of a required 6mo visit for a refill..no other vet did this..this vet charges 3times more for the cost of medication..Beware,, sheep's in wolves clothing!!! They couldn't even tell me what she was allergic to after over $800.00 in payment!!!! $65.00 a month for allergy medication..Greedy and incompetent!! What is she allergic to?????
