  I’m glad there’s an ER option in Bowling Green for an urgent emergency that can’t make the drive to Nashville. They separate you from your pet, which I’m not a fan of. My cat was having issues with her ears and had a tremor for a couple minutes at home . I didn’t want to stress her with the drive to Nashville so I took her here. They got me in a room quickly, but then took my cat away from me for over 2.5 hours with the doctor periodically coming in to discuss options. My cat just got an exam, ears looked at, ear cytology and bloodwork. All could have been done in the room. I understand some pets are better away from their owners, but she is always well behaved when my primary vet does everything in the room with me. I think they should at least try these things in the room or ask the owner what they are most comfortable with. These pets are like our kids and a human hospital doesn’t just separate a kid from their parent at an ER for things like an exam and bloodwork. She’s very nervous so I feel bad she had to spend so much time back there stressed out, I guess in a cage. I spent $600 on bloodwork, exam and ear cytology, the majority of that was bloodwork so pretty costly. I’d say if the pet could make the drive to Nashville I would probably do that next time. I don’t think you are saving any money by going here vs. a Nashville ER and I’ve heard wonderful things about Blue pearl and NVS. The doctor didn’t come to a diagnosis which I know can be hard, he thought neurological issue or behavioral, he didn’t think it was ear related. I saw my regular vet yesterday and we are treating her ears and she is 95 percent back to normal this morning with just an occasional itchy ear. If you don’t think your pet will survive the drive to Nashville for sure go here, otherwise if they are stable I’d just use a Nashville ER instead. Being able to stay with our pet means a lot to pet owners. (Obviously if the pet needs surgery or procedure done understandable they need to be taken to the treatment area)

  Everyone was so kind even though it was the middle of the night. Took their time explaining everything every step. And I was able to call anytime while my baby was their to check on him and they always were so kind and honest. 💕

  Took our fur baby here last night for a seizure emergency. Traveled here from Owensboro, KY so about an hour and some change drive. My experience was probably the best vet experience I’ve ever had. The lady who invited me inside who was at the front desk acted with urgency and got my baby back immediately as he was still in active seizure. She listened and asked questions to gain more insight on my baby to inform the doctor. She had a very warm spirit and energy to her, which made this traumatic experience for me calmer and with ease. Also same goes for the other lady who got us checked out ♥️ Dr. Dooley was amazing. He didn’t make anything seem rushed, he listened and also asked questions about my baby and answered any and all questions I had. They took their time with him to make sure he was okay before sending us back home. The clinic was also so clean and inviting inside. Before leaving, I mentioned to my husband that if I could, I would make this place our official vet and make that hour drive every time after this experience.   My rabbit was having a seizure and died and they wouldn’t even treat her so if you want you animal to die go here!

  Dr. Dooley was great with reviewing my concerns and creatimg a more aggressive treatment plan. He explained everything in detail. Brittany was so nice at check in and helped with accommodating my reactive dog.
