  Cashier was more happy to go outside and play in her friends car with a broken seatbelt than let customers pay for there items and leave .

  Petsmart is my usual go to, but I visited Petco on Kirkwood highway because I was in the area. Unfortunately, I had to walk away. The lack of knowledge and willingness to help could not go unnoticed. I asked for direction to locate items and got pointed in a general direction by store associate Elliot. When I returned to Elliot with questions about the items and to help with my selection, I was told I couldn't be helped because store associate Elliot said he couldn't leave the register. Even though there was absolutely no custome at the register except me. I went to another store associate who was a young lady working on the floor and was pretty much told the same thing. "The item is over there"(pointing) and said she had no knowledge of the item I was speaking of and didn't bother to assist any further. After working in retail off and on for at least 10 years, I didn't know it was a thing for a cashier not to leave the register or store associates to have zero knowledge of the products they sell. I see times have changed...at least at Petco. I decided to go to my usual Petsmart. When I arrived at PetSmart, I asked the same questions as I did at Petco. The associate was very knowledge and gave me assistance in selecting the proper seed/pellet. In fact it was the same one I saw at Petco. Not to mention it was $4 less at PetSmart. 12.99 compared to 16.99. So I guess in a way Petco associates not helping me....did help. They helped me save $4 😂

  Shelby is very knowledgeable, smart, funny and helpful with me in the fish department. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend to do all your pet shopping and animal loving gift buying at this location! I traveled all the way from Delco PA to this location.

  Was there this morning to take my cat Chloe to get her nails trimmed the girl that did her nails was so nice and took time with my Chloe and even brushed her also the other girls were so very nice and kind I will come here all the time they all deserve more then 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  I went to this Petco location to buy supplies for my betta fish and I was greatly happy with the staff and the advice they were able to offer me. Dariana was amazing! She was able to recommend me which substrate to add to my aquarium and provided great advice on filtration for bettas! I was also helped by a cashier who had glasses and painted yellow nails who was amazing as well with giving me advice and educating me on the rewards programs and such. I wish I caught her name!! She was very sweet as well!! The staff is great with giving advice on your animal needs!
