Because of the fact that the elderly woman I live with and care for cannot stop feeding the dog, I had to get rid of them over the weekend. I have to to do what is best for the dog. I have a plan for healthcare with Banfield. My plan renewed last December. Even though I want to cancel the plan because I had to adopt out my pet, Banfield feels as though they need to add insult to injury! I now owe them over $65 a month, every month, from May 2026, today, until the end of the contract at the end of December. Do not work with this company if you plan on getting a Hospital‘s pet insurance! It is a rip off, you’ll end up paying more, and the rules all go in favor of what benefits Banfield. They do not care about ethics! My name is Stephanie Baker and I go to Brandywine Banfield and you have my dog’s name was Zeppy. You can call me if you’d like this review updated. You have the number. Stop ripping people off! That’s not good business practices and you should know better!

Last month was our first time at this vet. We went in for an annual checkup and flea and tick meds. I was told that they gave my dog his first dose of meds and that I could come back in a month and they would give him another dose free of charge. They supposedly gave him an exam in the back while giving him his shots. I got home and realized that no one said anything about his teeth ( they are bad ) or the fact that he's going blind. I went back today and was told that there was a $9 charge for giving him the pill AND when I opened the box there were none missing. I spent over $550 and I will not be back!

I had a very good experience at Banfield Pet Hospital. The staff was friendly, professional, and really caring toward my pet. The veterinarian took time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions without rushing. The clinic was clean and well organized, and I felt my pet was treated with genuine care. I also like their wellness plan because it helps manage routine costs and keeps my pet up to date on vaccinations and checkups. Overall, I felt comfortable and confident leaving my pet in their care and would recommend them to other pet owners.

My wife came in today to bring our dog for rabies shot. My wife brought a pet carrier from PetSmart because the dog is hyper and they were early for the appointment and she done other shopping. During her appointment her and the dog were in the room. They take the dog back and you can hear the employees along with Dr Hicks talking about the dog. I told my wife she should have recorded it. A lady said why the dog in a pet carrier then say the dog name is Dior Dash why would they name the dog that. And a lot of other things. Corporate will be called because that is unacceptable and for Hicks to ask the lady I think she went up from but she probably didn’t. They are unprofessional and I will be digging into this more. Dash is my last name and Dior is the dog name so what’s weird about a dog having a first and a last name. Yeah so we won’t be back to that facility at all. Nothing but weird vibes

We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
