  Honestly, just so sick and tired of this location. Taking forever to get fish. Truly exhausting every time I ask. I feel like I'm a burden..... proceeded to ask the person at register. Told me they don't do that really just absolutely annoying and exhausting...... been waiting for ten minutes and have waited much longer here before.

  I stopped in on a whim to see what this store was like. I did not have high expectations as I have been to other Petco's and was not impressed. I am mostly interested in fish. They had an amazing selection of freshwater and saltwater fish. Most fish looked healthy. I was especially impressed by the quantity of fish in each tank. The pricing was very reasonable, and there was a sale going on that day. I signed up for the rewards program and hope to keep updated with future sales. They had a beautiful selection and display of freshwater plants that was well maintained; something I never would have expected in a chain store. When I visit a pet store I always have to visit the animals; had my kids been with me we probably would have walked out of the store with a hamster or two, they were on sale for $6 each. Everything was well stocked. This Petco location will now be an added stop whenever I am in the area.

  Where do I start my poor family pet dog was injured during a grooming, for the second time. Gave them a second chance and it happens again and even worse this time not again PETCO Highlands Ranch. You entrust your animals to get the care you pay for and expect and it doesn’t happen they have inexperienced and untrained staff that are careless and probably to busy chatting with each other or worse not paying attention to our pets. So disappointed!!! I had a terrible experience with this groomer. During my dog's grooming appointment, they cut my dog badly enough that he had to be taken to the veterinarian for stitches. It was heartbreaking to see my pet injured from what should have been a routine grooming. What upset me even more was the lack of care and accountability after the incident. As pet owners, we trust groomers to handle our dogs safely and professionally, and that trust was completely broken. I cannot recommend this groomer based on my experience. If you're considering bringing your pet here, I would encourage you to think carefully. No pet should leave a grooming appointment needing emergency veterinary care.
