- EBEduardo Botello2 days ago1.0I paid a $4,000 retainer for legal services, and after more than three months, nothing ended up happening with my case. I eventually asked for my money back and was only refunded $2,145, meaning $1,855 of my retainer was kept. During those three months, I only called about five times to ask for updates. Most of the time, the attorney wasn't available, and I was told I would receive a call back, but I usually never did. Communication was extremely disappointing, and I don't understand how $1,855 was charged when I saw little to no progress or results on my case. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this law firm. If you're considering hiring them, I would make sure you clearly understand how your retainer will be billed and ask for a detailed accounting of every charge.

While; I did find that the rates were a little too high for my comfort, I felt that her hours “booked” was more than fair. My divorce was a little bit tricky to deal with (in a legal sense;) but, the outcome was basically what I felt was “fair” and not far from what I wanted the outcome to be when I began this process. In the end; I can simply say, I was very pleased to have chosen my attorney and this legal firm and would not hesitate to use them again.
