  My wife and I were very fortunate to have Seth Fischer represent us when we were trying to purchase a home. We were pretty naive going into the purchase since it was our first home, but Seth was very professional and diligent in guiding us down the right path. We emailed him many questions and concerns during the process and he always responded very quickly. Between the seller, the realtors, and inspectors, we felt like Seth was the only one we could trust that was involved with the process. Once we felt like the house was no longer one we felt comfortable pursuing, he immediately got us out of the contract. Seth was the best part of the entire ordeal and we plan on having him represent us again on our next house.

  In early March, I scheduled an appointment with Alex Fisher to discuss an estate matter. He walked me through the process and seemed very confident he could resolve the issue quickly. Based on that conversation, I paid a $900 retainer and signed an agreement. Since then, Alex has failed to meet any of his commitments regarding my case. Over the past five months, I have reached out roughly once a week, but he has been consistently unresponsive to emails and phone messages. On the rare occasions I managed to reach him, he offered various excuses. When we finally spoke in late July, he admitted he had not given my case much attention and offered a full refund. Another month has passed, and I am still out $900, my legal matter remains completely unresolved, and I have wasted countless hours chasing updates. I strongly advise against using Hill & Fisher for legal counsel.

  Do not recommend this firm and advise anyone looking for estate planning to take your business elsewhere. My family has wasted 8 months trying to get simple estate documents drafted and have yet to receive any documents or acknowledgement from repeated inquiries on status. Phone calls and emails left unanswered by Alex Fischer. 8 months! We should have known when he was rude at the initial consultation (which was the first and last time we actually got to speak to him by phone.) Extremely unprofessional.

  We worked with Alex Fischer on the closing of our home, and it was not a smooth process, in large part because of the seller/seller's attorney. However, there were instances that Alex came across as short with us in communications, and he failed to inform the seller's attorney of the poor clean up job left by the seller (despite us telling Alex and emailing photos as evidence the very same day we closed). His lack of response informing the other attorney cost us $500, and Alex refused to acknowledge the error when we both called and emailed his office. We paid more, of course, than the $500 for his services, and we were not impressed.
