- JJJohnny JonesJun 12, 20263.0It took them 5 years and they purposely stretched it out 5 years so they get more money. Highly recommend you not doing it with a lawyer first like I did. I lost most of my hearing and nobody wanted me on construction sites like I have done my whole life. If you don't have time get a lawyer, but for me I always felt like they were stretching it as long as they could and NEVER let me know how much I owed them until I got paid and they took 30 thousand plus from their final bill. Shop for lawyers I saw them and didn't look for anybody else. Big Mistake

And this is bad because physically, and I have doctors statements to back it up. I cannot work at all.
