  I just went to court yesterday after my anxiety has been on edge for nearly 3 months regarding the 7 charges against me from my unexpected arrest in Maryland as a Delaware citizen (DUI, resisting arrest, etc.).. I found Kerrie through my partner's employee benefits legal plan, and there were VERY limited options within that plan. Out of all the options provided to me, Kerrie's office had the best reviews. Those reviews are the reason I'm choosing to leave this review today. Reviews influenced me personally, and more than likely this review will influence you to at least give her office a call in the same way that it did for me if you're looking for a reputable lawyer. I contacted Kerrie's office and learned very quickly that my insurance policy didn't cover the specific charges I was given, but I decided to move forward regardless - I was overwhelmed and it had taken me weeks to process the legal situation that I was in and make that initial call. I was committed to hiring her for my case after the first phone call. In my mind, it was better than calling multiple offices, waiting for responses, and getting a number of quotes.. I believe that God works in mysterious ways. I truly wanted my law costs to be covered through this insurance policy, as I had just lost my long-term job days prior to my incident, but the Universe has an interesting way of sorting itself out. For those wondering, I spent approximately $4.5k to hire her for my particular case. I'm not sure how that varies from case to case or if that amount could change over time with the amount of skill she has. To me, after having to tap into my very limited savings, that 4.5k amount was nothing compared to the multitude of charges that could have been potentially on my record for the next (?) years and the financial consequences of such. Kerrie showed up maybe 30 minutes late to court at no fault of her own due to traffic and her lengthy commute to Cecil County, but she notified the court and they were accommodating due to her reputation - she walked into that court room 30 minutes late like a BOSS. I truly believe benefited from it because the entire room was empty with the exception of the judge and, (forgive me for my lack of terminology, "court crew"), and Kerrie got to have one-on-one time with the petitioner. When I say that I was given the best possible outcome a person could have with my situation, I genuinely mean it. A majority of my other charges more than likely would have gone against me to impact any future employment plans within education and certainly would have cost me more financially ($5k fine for ONE charge out of SEVEN). I'm beyond, BEYOND grateful that I chose to hire Kerrie. Her staff answers the phone regularly, Kerrie will even answer the phone if it's 9AM on the dot and she first walks in the door with her coat still on (hehe) ;).. Know that she takes her clients seriously and will do anything in her power to give you the best possible outcome. We hadn't even met in person until the day of my case yesterday. I couldn't even get all of the documents that she wanted in order to better my case due to my own forgettability and lack of a doctor's cooperation, and I STILL had the best possible outcome I could have ever imagined. She's trustworthy, communicative, and has your best interest at heart. Thanks again Kerrie, for all you did for me. I can't wait to put this behind me. I'll keep you in mind the next time I get a DUI. JUST KIDDING!!!! LOL <3 :)

  WARNING!!!!!!! Do not use her if you need counsel for real estate partitions!!! She’s unqualified and lacks knowledge in this area. She priced gouge my daughter and didn’t even have the appropriate knowledge surrounding the legal issues surrounding the matter. My daughter’s father has advanced dementia and because she wasn’t familiar with it at the time she was retained, she assumed ( based on a conversation she had with him), telling my daughter ( her client) “he didn’t sound like he had dementia” on 3/20/26 she witnessed it first hand!!! Not only did the judge rule against her, she didn’t provide my daughter with ALL the options!!! Nevertheless, she is not qualified in this area!!! It cost $450 per hour for her to appear in a courtroom. She showed up on time and sat down across from us and never bothered to ask ( it was just my daughter and I sitting there) who we were. After the loss trial, my daughter and I learned there were other options she failed to mention. She sent final bill in the amount of $70.35😂 Girl bye ✌🏽 she’s been paid in full. I’ll be sure to let the person who recommended you know how you move.
