  If you're looking for a law firm that will actually investigate your accident, communicate with you, and fight for you, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I hired Steinger, Greene & Feiner after being struck by a hit-and-run driver while walking on a public sidewalk. The driver fled, and I expected the attorneys I hired to make a serious effort to identify the person responsible. Apparently, expecting a personal injury law firm to investigate a personal injury case was asking too much. Instead of meaningfully investigating the accident, they went straight after my own automobile insurance. That claim was ultimately denied. When I questioned their lack of investigation, I was actually told that I needed to do the investigating myself because their firm doesn't do that. Seriously? Then what exactly am I hiring you for? I've personally contacted the apartment complex, pursued surveillance footage, questioned the police investigation, and worked to uncover information about the driver. Meanwhile, I was repeatedly ghosted by the very people I hired to represent me. ChatGPT has genuinely been more helpful in understanding my legal options, identifying investigative avenues, and organizing my case than the law firm I actually hired. Think about how ridiculous that is. A free AI conversation has provided more useful guidance than a professional legal team that stood to collect a substantial percentage of my potential settlement. The firm claimed it performed its "due diligence." Based on my experience, I'd love to know what that supposedly consisted of. I genuinely question whether even one hour of meaningful investigation was conducted. I eventually fired them for their lack of investigation and repeated communication failures. And here's the icing on the cake: After I fired them, they immediately asserted an attorney's charging lien against any money I might eventually recover. They couldn't provide the level of representation I expected, but they certainly made sure to protect their potential payday. I was injured by a hit-and-run driver, left dealing with medical treatment and an unidentified suspect, and somehow ended up having to investigate my own accident while also fighting with the attorneys I hired to help me. This has been one of the most disappointing professional experiences I've ever had. My advice? Before signing anything with this firm, ask whether they'll actually investigate your accident or whether they'll expect you to do their job for them. Also ask what happens if you fire them for being dissatisfied with their services. I wouldn't recommend Steinger, Greene & Feiner to anyone based on how my case was handled. It’s crazy that they now want to pursue my money because I called them out. If AI can provide more useful assistance than your personal injury law firm, something is seriously wrong with the service you're receiving. Edit 12 OCTOBER 2026: Added photograph of area where I was hit where there’s supposedly no coverage according to their investigators. I would recommend filing your own insurance claims instead of hiring these guys. 30% they want to only file a claim for you ridiculous.

  The perfect people to talk to after an accident, Mr. Cutler was exceptional when it came to handling my case and getting me the care I needed. Not only him but his assistant also made me feel seen and acknowledged.   I had a great experience working with this law office throughout my personal injury case. Everyone was professional, helpful, and supportive throughout the entire process. I especially want to recognize my paralegal, Jeanie, who was absolutely wonderful. She was always great at communicating, keeping me updated, and answering any questions I had. She made sure I understood what was happening throughout the process and was always so helpful whenever I needed clarification. I also want to thank Miriam, who was incredibly kind and professional. I really appreciated how she handled my case and made me feel like I was in good hands. Both Miriam and Jeanie made what could have been a stressful experience much easier for me.
