  Michael Shapley at Jansen and Davis is hands down the most outstanding lawyer that I have ever hired, after being arrested over a year ago, I had no idea how this would end. Being a black man in America I felt like I was down for the count and that my life was over. Public defenders were spoken with and my mind went numb; I'm not physic but I could see how that story would end, my public defender said and I quote "I took a class in high school in statistics so we should be good, I can jump right on it and have it all figured out". Months in county jail or years in prison was being offered to me along with warrants for my arrest were being hurdled at me left and right over false allegations while I tried to keep up with my business so that my life would not fall apart. Me and Mike have been in battle together for over a year in front of boards, officers, prosecutors, judges, and every step of the way he gave the best legal representation that money can buy. I honestly think the pricing for his services was him doing me a favor. Many nights I would blow up his phone in anxiety and panic realizing everything that was on the line, not once did he become unprofessional, not once did he ask me to stop blowing up his phone, and he always was available to talk about anything. If he can't pick up the phone, then he is in court or in a meeting and will text you back as soon as he gets the chance. Over 12 months together and I don't believe that I have ever had to wait over 24hrs for a response, he is also a straight shooter, very honest. He will not lie to you and tell you everything is going to be alright when it's not, but as previously stated, what he will do is give you the best representation that money can buy.
