  I cannot recommend Karen Johnson enough. She is sharp, professional, and straight to the point. No nonsense, no games—just exactly the kind of attorney you want in your corner during a stressful and emotional time. She fought hard for me, never backed down to opposing counsel, and truly had my best interests at heart. At the same time, she was supportive, compassionate, and steady throughout the entire process. I also have to recognize her legal assistant, Amy, who was always kind, efficient, and incredibly responsive. She kept me updated, answered emails quickly, and made sure I always had the latest court information. Karen and Amy were an exceptional team, and I’m beyond grateful for both of them. Highly recommend.

  The divorce was something that I absolutely did not ever want. Prior to Karen's representation, I had retained an "attorney" that could not represent himself in a dispute with a lemonade stand operator. A total waste of time, effort and money! My amazing personal Doctor recommended Karen. It was the best thing that anyone did for me during this terrible process. Karen took the destruction from my prior counselor and his office staff and, with Amy's incredible help and organizational skills, put the opposing counsel on notice that this was going to be a professionally managed and represented case. I never looked back. The work was very difficult and time consuming as much of it had already been done and had to be repeated. (Costly). Within a couple of months, depositions were finally taken and a successful mediation was completed. There was no real winner in my situation. I was thankful that Karen was ferociously focused and objective on drawing me into the fight. The divorce is now final, sadly, and we are finally able to move on with our separate lives. Karen, and her staff, are masters at what they do. No matter how sleazy you may see opposing counsel in your legal battle, Karen Johnson will rise above that guttural level and make you believe in the system. It works, it just takes the right, professional representation. Duces Tecum!

  I had a wonderful experience working with Karen and her team on a family planning concern. While legal planning is hardly something I look forward to, Karen’s clear depth of experience and resulting documents/execution gave me confidence that I’m in good hands should any issues arise.

  After my divorce I had to fight to see my children. Karen did a excellent job walking me through the process. She is very detailed and energetic and fights for what is right. I would recommend her to anyone that is dealing with a highly stressful situation. I would hire her again.
