I can’t put into words how to describe Mr Evans and his paralegal staff. The ladies at that office , on a consistent basis, are a good representation of how this firm handles its clients and not just a money grab like some firms are that exist out there. For what they provide , they go above and beyond to make sure all is taken care of and that the people are taken care of first. Mr Evans and his team are what the world needs more of. In in my bad experience with a lawyer a few years back, it would have been nice to have an attorney like this to have my back over the one I had to give advice to and in return do my talking for me while he still got a cut. For any wills estates or anything related to. I highly recommend Lee and Evans.

The story is too long, so I'm just summarizing. When Greg Lee was alive, I would have given this firm a 6-star rating. He was a reputable and amazing attorney who cared about his clients. The unprofessionalism and incompetence that Evans and his paralegal provided was appalling. Because of his incompetence at handling a situation and I had to hire an attorney to intervene on my behalf to represent my rights. I am so grateful for my attorney's knowledge in this field. l am glad that I followed my intuition about getting a second opinion about how the matter was being handled by this attorney. Because of my attorney's competent representation, my rights were protected. It's taken me this long to write this review because I'm no longer willing to stay silent about this situation. That's how devastated I was.

4/24/26 I need to add to this review. I circled back & spoke with Dawn Hollar to follow-up. Dawn was so professional & sharp, I complemented her & she responded: "When you work for good people, it's easy to be good!" I haven't heard nor said that in decades!!! Enough said! Dave Evans & the staff of Lee & Evans are outstanding! We're former business owners with old school values and integrity - our bar is very high! Working with Dave Evans has renewed our hope in the future and has put our minds at ease! God bless Lee and Evans!

Dave Evans has worked with me to prepare my trust. In addition to being very professional, he is most kind, patient, thorough, and accessible. I highly recommend him.

Frequently Asked Questions About Lee & Evans

Do I need an estate plan if I have a small estate?

Generally, smaller estates will fare worse than larger ones if a clear estate plan is not created because the cash reserves in the estate may be liquidated needlessly for probate attorneys’ fees and/or estate taxes. Also, small is a relative term, so you may think your estate is small, but the IRS may think differently. With any size estate, it is important to have a clear plan that is simple to execute and avoids lengthy court processes.

Will a Florida revocable living trust protect my assets from creditors?

A revocable living trust in Florida offers a safeguard against tumultuous situations like probate and disability. However, it's important to note that creditors can still lay claim to assets within a revocable living trust. With careful drafting, a living trust can offer asset protection for your beneficiaries, but if creditor protection is a priority, it's advisable to explore additional asset protection avenues.
