  I hired Mr. Sellers back in May 2025. I put down a 5k deposit and was paid 1k a month until my balance was paid off. My husband’s first court date with him was in October 2025. When I contacted Mr. Sellers, he immediately told me, without even reading the case, that the jury would find him guilty without a doubt. I would call and schedule meetings every two weeks. On the second meeting, someone from his office told me that Sellers said stopped calling and he had no updates. I told my husband that I didn’t trust this man to go to trial with him. However, my husband believed Mr. Sellers when he said he would file certain motions, so we went to trial. During trial, it was clear that Mr. Sellers didn’t know the case. He came to court without any confidence or fight in him. After we lost the trial, Mr. Sellers was supposed to file a notice of appeal. My brother-in-law reached out to him several times, but he only answered the first time. He said that the notice should be done within the next couple of days. After he answered the first time, my brother-in-law didn’t receive any further replies. We had 30 days to file a notice of appeal, but two weeks in, there was still no notice. My husband was sent to prison. We had to hire another attorney to file the notice because Mr. Sellers failed to do his job. I would not recommend this attorney to anyone. Like all the other comments, he will take your money and not do anything. He only met with my husband three days before trial and was hired twice during the year. Before hiring him, I asked him about his reviews and my concerns. He said that he didn’t answer if the whole family was calling and from my experience that he barely answered all the calls. He said he would file motions and failed to file any motions. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was working for the prosecutors.

  This attorney is horrible! We are from a neighboring state and had to drive over no less than 4-5 times! The trial was delayed because he was not upfront about his personal health. He didn’t show up for court, was always late - except when it came to collecting astronomical fees! On a case that should have been thrown out based on no prior trouble and many police blunder technicalities - a young persons future was ruined! This guy is terrible. I would NOT recommend!
