  This is my humble and personal opinion of what I think of Mr. Steven Kaufman. Steven is the man ! I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Steven as my attorney. From the very beginning, he demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, confidence, preparation, and dedication. He far exceeded every expectation I had, and after seeing him represent me in court, I knew I had made the right decision in choosing him as my lawyer. What impressed me most about Steven was the way he carried himself in the courtroom. He was valiant, distinguished, composed, and extremely well prepared. He presented himself with confidence without ever being arrogant or disrespectful. He knew exactly when to speak, what points needed to be made, and how to make them clearly and effectively. Watching him advocate on my behalf gave me a tremendous amount of confidence throughout the entire proceeding. Steven is also incredibly direct and straight to the point, which is something I greatly appreciated. He does not fool around, sugarcoat things, waste your time, or beat around the bush. He tells you exactly where you stand, what to expect, and what he believes the best course of action is. When something needed to be addressed, he addressed it head-on. At the same time, he remained respectful, professional, and courteous to everyone involved. That combination of being firm and direct while maintaining professionalism is something that truly distinguished him. His courtroom presence was outstanding. Steven was articulate, attentive, strategic, and clearly understood the details of the case. Nothing about his representation felt improvised or unprepared. It was evident that he took his responsibility as my attorney seriously and genuinely wanted to represent my interests to the fullest extent possible. He knew the facts, understood the issues, and was able to communicate our position in a way that was organized, persuasive, and easy to understand. Another quality I greatly respected was that Steven never gave me unrealistic expectations. He was straightforward with me throughout the process and treated me with respect. Having an attorney who will give you a direct answer—even when the answer may not necessarily be what you want to hear—is invaluable. That honesty helped establish a tremendous amount of trust between us. When it came time to appear in court, Steven truly showed the caliber of attorney he is. He was commanding without being confrontational, assertive without being disrespectful, and confident without being excessive. He stayed focused on the issues that mattered and did not allow unnecessary distractions to take away from the case. His ability to remain composed, think clearly, and advocate effectively under pressure was extremely impressive. I walked away from this experience with an enormous amount of respect for Steven, both as an attorney and as a professional. He did not simply meet my expectations—he far exceeded them. I felt that I had someone standing beside me who was prepared, knowledgeable, fearless when necessary, and genuinely committed to representing me properly. If you are looking for an attorney who is professional, respectful, direct, exceptionally prepared, and who will not waste your time or beat around the bush, I would highly recommend Steven. His performance in court was nothing short of outstanding, and I am extremely grateful for the way he represented me. Steven earned my trust and my highest recommendation. I would choose him again without hesitation.

  I had a great experience working with Steven during a child relocation case. He was attentive, honest, and very responsive throughout the entire process. He always made himself available to answer my questions and would respond to calls or texts almost immediately whenever he was available. I really appreciated how real and straightforward he was with me, and I never felt like I was being left in the dark. Having an attorney who communicates well and truly stays on top of your case makes such a difference during a stressful situation. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, responsive, and dependable family law attorney.
