This review is based entirely on my personal experience with Attorney Hernan Hernandez during my family‑court case. I was never his client — he represented my ex‑wife — and everything stated here reflects what I personally witnessed or what licensed attorneys directly told me. What I experienced from Mr. Hernandez in court was not subtle, accidental, or misunderstood — it was overt racial hostility. As a Black man, I was repeatedly targeted with racially charged comments, stereotypes, and insinuations that had absolutely no factual basis. He tried to portray me as violent, abusive, or criminal, even though I have no history of domestic violence, child abuse, or criminal behavior in the State of Florida. His behavior made it clear: he was relying on racial bias, not evidence. Several attorneys who have litigated against him told me directly — without hesitation — that Mr. Hernandez has a long‑standing pattern of making derogatory remarks about Black people. These attorneys described hearing him say that Black men are “born criminal” or automatically guilty because of their skin color. These were not rumors or online comments. These were firsthand accounts from licensed professionals who have stood across from him in courtrooms. In my case, Mr. Hernandez repeatedly attempted to influence the court by leaning on racial stereotypes instead of facts. He made accusations with zero documentation, zero police reports, and zero investigative history. His approach was predictable: label the Black man as dangerous and hope the system responds to the stereotype. It was offensive, unethical, and deeply damaging to the integrity of the process. I also heard from former clients and individuals who previously worked with him that they witnessed similar behavior — a pattern of disrespect, dishonesty, and racial bias toward Black litigants. The consistency of these accounts mirrors exactly what I personally experienced in court. Because of the repeated racial comments, unsupported accusations, and discriminatory conduct, I filed a formal complaint with the Florida Bar. No attorney should be allowed to weaponize racial stereotypes in a courtroom. No attorney should be allowed to make racist remarks toward a litigant and walk away without consequences. Additionally, many public reviews from former clients raise serious concerns about his honesty and professionalism. Some describe feeling misled, overcharged, or mistreated. While I cannot verify every claim, these public complaints align with the pattern of behavior I personally witnessed. Based on my direct experience, I strongly warn Black or African American individuals to be extremely cautious when dealing with Mr. Hernandez in any legal matter. His conduct toward me was openly racist, professionally reckless, and completely unacceptable in any courtroom.

He was appointed as guardian ad litem for my son and cheated him from having proper counselling. he said he attended all the meeting wish he did not and saw my son about 5times in 18 months He never returned his call or mine then he would go to court and talk like he knew everything when all he did was repeat the same thing he had said before because he didn't know anything new due to his lack of knowledge and his neglect of the case my son was put to live 2 weeks out of the month with his father who in a state exam was shown to have the same traits of a child abuser and who used to beat me up regularly And had been arrested for drugs and when he had to read something negative in court about my sons father he would cover his mouth and mumble so no one could understand him I think he got paid by my son's father on the side and took the money without caring about the safety of my son all this is the truth and nothing but the truth he ripped my son off from having a stable life
