  PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE TRUSTING THE INJURY FIRM WITH YOUR CASE I am posting this because I sincerely wish someone had warned me before I hired The Injury Firm. Do your research, ask questions, and think twice before putting your trust in this firm. I was seriously injured in the community where I lived after being struck in the head and falling. My injuries required back surgery and multiple shoulder surgeries. I hired The Injury Firm believing I would have an attorney who would protect my interests and guide me through a process I openly admitted I did not understand. Instead, my case took approximately 2½ years to reach mediation. Throughout my representation, I repeatedly explained that I did not understand legal terminology or the process and needed guidance. Unfortunately, I often felt that my questions were treated as an annoyance rather than something my attorney should have been helping me understand. My attorney, Erik Thompson, seemed more concerned with criticizing how I communicated by email and who I copied than addressing my concerns. To me, this was extremely unprofessional and made me question whether my interests were truly being prioritized. At mediation, after my attorney had a private discussion with opposing counsel, I was suddenly told there was a discrepancy involving my deposition. I was extremely upset because I had relied on my attorney to review and properly handle these matters. When I questioned what was happening, I did not feel my concerns were well received. Shortly afterward, my attorney withdrew from my case. After more than two years of representation, I was left feeling abandoned at a critical point in my case. There were also serious medical complications. I was referred to a surgeon in Fort Lauderdale. After my first shoulder surgery, I required a second surgery and later developed a severe infection requiring a third surgery. Today, my shoulder and arm are severely compromised and almost unusable. I had even asked my attorney after the first surgery whether I should seek another surgeon or medical opinion. I was essentially told, “I’m not going to tell you what to do.” That response was extremely troubling to me, particularly after repeatedly explaining that I needed guidance. I am now approximately 3½ years into this ordeal, dealing with approximately $200,000 in medical bills, along with additional expenses that continue to arrive. Since leaving The Injury Firm, I have spoken with other attorneys who expressed opinions that caused me to seriously question how my case was handled and whether opportunities were missed. I am not an attorney, and I am sharing my personal experience, not telling anyone what legal decision to make. But based on what happened to me, I would strongly encourage anyone considering The Injury Firm to do extensive research before signing anything. I had a bad feeling from the beginning, and I ignored it. I regret that. My experience left me feeling that the communication was unprofessional, my concerns were not taken seriously, and the trust I placed in the firm was ultimately misplaced. DO YOUR RESEARCH. ASK QUESTIONS. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. AND TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. I would never want someone else to go through what I experienced without first knowing what happened to me.

  They were very compassionate to my knees they understood my situation they pulled it all together in a matter in a in a matter of time so I can get my first payout then I had two accidents back to back they did it so fast got all the paperwork that and put it together these people are awesome

  The team did great on helping me with my case! I thought I had no hope in transferring my case with another firm when my other lawyers dropped my case but the injury firm picked it up and made all my worries go away. They were super communicative, made sure to guide me through the process and fought hard for the best settlement they can get. Especially Andre’s and my paralegal, Nicole. Thank you guys so much.
