  I am writing this review to caution others based on my experience with Rana Holz, Lead Attorney and Head of Holz Family Law. I hired Ms. Holz to represent me in my divorce proceedings. While this office charges premium rates, the level of advocacy and professional diligence provided was profoundly lacking. Over the course of more than a year, I found their representation to be characterized by a lack of urgency and a failure to prioritize my critical interests. Key areas of concern included: • Failure to Act on Urgent Matters: Despite facing time-sensitive circumstances that required immediate court intervention, the firm repeatedly declined to file the necessary motions to expedite relief. This inaction led to prolonged and unnecessary hardship that could have been mitigated with proactive legal strategy. • Neglect of Legal Discovery: I paid for specific services, including subpoenas for evidence critical to my case, which were never followed through. Despite my repeated follow-ups over an eight-month period, these tasks remained incomplete, leaving significant gaps in my legal position. • Administrative and Procedural Errors: The firm’s attention to detail was unacceptable. In one instance, a failure to properly sign and file court documents nearly resulted in me appearing before a judge without representation. Basic administrative errors like this are inexcusable given the stakes involved. • Prioritizing Billing over Advocacy: Communication was a constant struggle. Rather than addressing the merits of my case, interactions often felt centered on billing reminders. When I finally attempted to address these ongoing service failures, I was told Ms. Holz was "too busy" with personal vacation plans to focus on my file. Shortly after this exchange, the firm withdrew from my case entirely. In total, I spent a substantial six-figure sum only to be left in a worse position than when I started. If you are looking for a firm that is responsive, detail-oriented, and committed to YOUR welfare, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere else and don't waste your time and money with Holz Family Law.

  I had an extremely high conflict case. My ex has moved states 4 times, I've had 8 lawyers, and it has now progressed into civil court for defamation and malicious prosecution in the 7 digit numbers. Out of the 8 lawyers I've had, I will say Chris was the most aggressive, professional, and competent. He responded with motions within an hour of her ex-parte lies and showed other court documents shining a light on her perjury. I would highly recommend Holz law with Rana, Chris, and Randy. Take this from a seasoned veteran in the family court system with an extremely high conflict ex.

  Very professional and set realistic expectations for my case. Rana is very organized and logical. Her focus was on what was in my best interest during a very stressful divorce. I felt I was the only client by the way I was treated. l am fully satisfied that I received the best representation possible. I wholeheartedly recommend Holz Family Law for any Family Law issues.
