  There are endless good things to say about Keeley. I have been blessed to know her through various business networking in our community. I have called her for advice over the years and she treated me not only as a valued client but as a friend. When my brother was falsely accused and charged of petit theft for allegedly stealing a cat, I called Keeley. She reviewed the frivolous case and advised me at first to try out the public defender. She showed in that moment that she cares more about people than profits. When the third public defender was assigned after the first two in Hernando County quit I knew things were going south. The third public defender berated my brother, treated him like a guilty criminal, and refused to meet with him. I called Keeley again and she agreed to review my brothers case further. She subsequently took him on as a client and was preparing for a trial if necessary. Keeley is always ready for a fight, and I think the state attorneys office recognizes that and trembles in their boots. She's not one of those attorneys that's going to lay down and let an innocent person get thrown under the bus with some shanty plea deal. Today she found that the case has been grossly mishandled and statutes of limitations were not adequately adhered to. She is filing a motion for dismissal and we expect a positive outcome. Keeley and her staff have been incredible throughout this stressful process. Her staff aren't merely paramount professionals, they're all a compassionate bunch of justice lovers. For all of your criminal defense and personal injury needs, Keeley is the right choice.
