  I had an incredibly positive experience with this law firm during one of the most difficult times in my life. As a stay-at-home mother of two girls, going through a divorce felt overwhelming.   In my 36 years of practicing law, I litigated several contested matters against Mr. Yablen, who served as opposing counsel. I found him to be honest, diligent, and highly professional. He is well prepared, responsive, and a strong advocate for his clients, while remaining respectful of the process and everyone involved. In my experience, he works consistently to achieve favorable results for those he represents and conducts himself with integrity in and out of the courtroom. Most recently, we opposed each other in the highly contested case of Taitz v. Taitz. Months after the case concluded, Mr. Yablen’s client posted a negative review of his firm; as opposing counsel, I do not believe that review accurately reflects the outcome of the case.

  I don't know why I did not think of doing this then. My mediation was about 3 years ago and I still have PTSD from that experience. From the beginning of the mediation I felt Barry was biased with my ex-husband. I will never forget nor forgive when he told me to "get my shit together" when I said I had no money and therefore no choice but to fight for what I deserved.Menwhile my ex was trying to leave the 10-year relationship with everything while leaving me and the kids with nothing. (Plot twist: I got everything I was asking for in the trial). The mediation was a waste of money I already did not have and I never felt as disrespected and humiliated in my life, and as a woman, I would absolutely not recommend.
