  Ruben Socarras began to threaten and harass me via email, April 3rd, 2026, as a “favor” to my son’s father. Who admitted to me that he was having Ruben threaten me with false allegations as a favor, because Ruben is a “client of his” - my son’s father supplied Ruben with fishing bait. Ruben’s threats and lack of knowledge in family law or the circumstances surrounding the situation regarding myself and my son’s father directly led to a domestic violence incident involving myself and my son. I expressed to Ruben via email how uncomfortable I was with meeting my son’s father directly and was threatened with false allegations, and enforcements that if I did not adhere to his demand to directly work with him. Not only were Ruben’s actions unprofessional and unethical, it directly led to a domestic violence incident that put myself and my 4 year old son in danger. After this incident occurred on April 26th, and my son’s father was arrested. I now have a restraining order for a full year against my son's father, and he has pending criminal charges with the state. Ruben has gone silent and is nowhere to be found or involved.
